1. Why men are better entrepreneurs than women
For some reason I cannot seem to differentiate between men and women Entrepreneurs. I always had
the feeling that if a person had an idea, got the courage to go forward and start it, found the money or
those that will help, and had all the time in the world to work on it, then this person is an entrepreneur.
So being a male or a female is not material. The most important factors that you see above is the
perseverance and the time.
Can you now see why most women will not grow their entrepreneurial idea beyond a certain size? It’s
the time factor! And how much of our time is devoted to working our ideas through? thus if we were
single, no family commitments, no mums and dads to look after, then of course we can spend all our
time on improving, perfecting, growing and nourishing etc, however its rarely this scenario. We have
responsibilities that require our attention and it’s in our nature that we cannot leave it behind. let me
provide a small example, let’s just assume that your daughter was depressed as she didn’t do well in her
school exam, would you leave her alone? I think the first thing is to take her out for a meal, or a movie,
and comfort her. Well there goes your three precious hours that you needed to work on your yearend
financials, which you require for your new venture capitalists and angel investors.
