The world's biggest hole is located in Russia and is a 525 meter deep, 1.25 kilometer wide diamond mine near Mirna, Siberia. This mine has resulted in several helicopter crashes due to the strong suction above the hole, so flight is now prohibited over it. A satellite image shows how small vehicles and equipment appear in the massive excavation site.
