Transmedia has
become quite the …
buzzword lately.
What Transmedia is not…
Transmedia is not…
… a communication agency based in Transylvania.

Which, actually, would have crazy business potential considering the success
of those vampire franchises.
Transmedia is not…

… a TV network made for
and by transexuals, even
though we all recognize the
greatness of Felicity
Huffman.
Transmedia is not…
 …just making up a story and
 distributing it on multiple
 platforms – that’s copy-paste.

 Stories are necessary but
 they are not the end product.

 Take a look at Henry Jenkins’
 work to get more details.
Transmedia is…
…using multiple platforms (print, TV, digital
touch-screens, web, iOS apps, etc.) to create
unique experiences.

Doing transmedia allows us to create real
synergies and surround consumers with rich
interactive experiences.
So, is it new?

Not really... However, web 2.0 and mobile
apps have radically transformed the way
we do transmedia.
