PARTS. Shaping operations could be
better performed on other machines.
2. Apply pressure AGAINST the direction of
the rotating belt or drum so you remain in
control of your work piece.

3. ALWAYS hold stock firmly against the
table or back fence.
4. Ensure correct tracking of belts to keep
them from tearing or even breaking.
5. Keep hands away from the sanding belt
and drum. Hold small pieces with a
clamp, jig or fixture.
5. USEFULL TIPS
1. Keep stock in constant motion to prevent burn
marks due to friction.
2. Sand only CLEAN WOOD. No glue, pitch or
finishes. These materials clog the abrasives.
3. Use the BELT SANDER to sand edge grain
and larger curves.
4. Use the SPINDLE SANDER to tight curves
