1. The Chains Are Broken!!
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is
come, he will tell us all things.

Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man
said, Whatseekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith
Prayer
Often times we go through life with blinders on. Moving
here, and there, doing this or that, but it just seems as
though things are just not quite right. We’re walking
around on auto pilot, but not really engaging in all that
life has to offer. And especially women, we take care of
our homes, and our children our husbands our jobs, but
at the end of the day, we are the ones who left heaviness
and no peace. But on tonight I come to war with the
devil for your sanity. I come declare that those whom

2. the son sets free are free in dead. I come to speak life
unto you and that life more abundantly. The chains are
broken. With every word that I speak chains shall fall off
of every believer in this house. The chains are
broken!!!!!
And I wanted to call a character witness tonight to share
her testimony. The portion of scripture that I read was
the tail end of a conversation that she was having with
the master. And how many of you know that one
encounter with the master and you will never be the
same. And see that’s our problem right there is that
some of us have never had a real encounter with the

3. Jesus, because if you had you would not still be in
bondage!!!!
Let’s look at the text: John 4:3
He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.

And he must needs go through Samaria.
In Romans 8: 29 says
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be
conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the
firstborn among many brethren.
Which means that even before the foundations of the world
were laid, it was predestined that he must go through Samaria
on this particular day at this particular time. Somebody shout
predestined!!!!!!!!

4. It was predestined that you went through all of the hell you
went through the last 10 years. It was predestined that you get
down to your last dime; it was predestined that you marry,
divorce, and become a single mother, because how else could
there have been an opportunity for you to have an experience
with God. Somebody say I thank God for my story. Come on,
tell somebody…I thank God for my story. This is my story and
I’m sticking to it.
Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar,
near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied
with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth
hour.
1) Nothing good out of Samaria
2) Sixth hour: 11:00-12:00

5. 6)There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith
unto her, Give me to drink.
Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou,
being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria?
for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
1) Jesus had gotten rid of the boys
2) Spoke to a sinner
Verse 10:
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of
God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou
wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee
living water.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw
with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that
living water?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well,
and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoeverdrinketh of this
water shall thirst again:
14
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall
never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a
well of water springing up into everlasting life.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst
not, neither come hither to draw.
Expound
16Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said
unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
1) Got free
2) First part of getting free is to admit that you have a
problem.
3) Admit that you are bound in chains
4) Jesus called it like he saw it.
For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is
not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a
prophet.

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in
Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh,
when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem,
worship the Father.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for
salvation is of the Jews.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers
shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father
seeketh such to worship him.
Tell ya neighbor…she smooth changed the subject.
1) Samaritans worshipped in the mountain
2) Jews worshipped in Jerusalem
3) Jesus said it don’t matter cuz they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth.
4) I like this line: The father seek such to worship. Where
my worshippers at???
Somebody shout its time for the revelation!!!!
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which

1) Disciples couldn’t believe it
2) Knew she was a Samaritan but never questioned

8. 3) New that they were in the midst of a miracle in the
making. How many miracles in the making do I have in
this house to night. Touch ya neighbor and say neighbor
get close, get close, cause you are in the midst of a
miracle in the making. Get ready get ready get ready.

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the
men,

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
Doing the matrix as she turnaround.
And as she was tunring around, the chains were falling off of her.
Men who’d known her all her life, probably didn’t even recognize her, because she
was now free.
Her chains were broken. Chains were broken!!!
