eLearning at Sydney Institute has gone
through four generations since 1998
1. Developing simple and basic learning resources in HTML format or
using text books. Interacting with students used email initially and
then used Instant Messenger (called ICQ) - 1998
2. Using learning management systems & developing multimedia
learning resources - 2002
3. Utilizing collaborative Web 2.0 tools & video/web-conference - 2007
4. Using mobile & handheld devices (smart phones & tablets) and
educational apps, e-assessment as well as implementing
Augmented Reality - 2013
