This document discusses the need for an "LNG artery" or waterway across Europe to transport liquefied natural gas (LNG) from existing regasification terminals to areas that want to use LNG to fuel vehicles. It argues that existing infrastructure could be better utilized through small-scale LNG production and flexible regasification terminals connected by water transport, rather than building everything from scratch. Cooperation across countries and strategic long-term thinking will be important to make this "European LNG artery" a reality.
