How to read Humidity Indicator Cards?
Electronics Goods such as computer parts, laptop parts, mobile parts, batteries, optic
cables and other electronics goods storage to keep away from moisture and rusting
effects. Follow below steps, how to read cobalt free HIC cards after insertion with
electronics goods.
STRP 1: Insert HIC Cards in Electronics Parts Box
Insert indicator cards in container. The selection of card spots is
depending on packaging container size and present humidity in the
box. If you sored pharmaceutical tablets or capsules in 7*8 inch box
than you need 3 spots cards which is suitable to easily indicate
humidity level.
STRP 2: Read Humidity Level with HIC Cards
When you open that box, the spots color is change blue to light
pink that means indication is completed and replace your
cards. Now you can see humidity level from the box and take
action from the moisture effects.

The HI Cards absorb humidity around 5%, 10%, 15%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% complies
with MS 20003-2. Humidity Indicator Cards (HIC) is printed with moisture sensitive spots
which respond to various levels of humidity with a visible color change from blue to pink.
HIC's are placed inside vacuum sealed (dry packed) moisture barrier bags to monitor the
inside humidity, complies absolutely with JDEC Standard 033.
