• The other is felt to require broader discussion

6. rNews 1.1: expires property
Add expires property of type xsd:DateTime to NewsItem
• The date and time after which the NewsItem is no longer considered
valid by its publisher

• Many websites are only allowed to display content that they are
republishing for a limited period of time
• This property could be used by rNews consumers to remove the
news item from their cache of information
• Or as a trigger to come back and refresh information about the item

• Request: Create a class for copyrighted objects which
can be associated with the (news) content (Article etc.)
