Career Highlights
Susan M. Gray is a Senior Property Manager for the Portland, Oregon office as well as the
Principal Broker for the Property Management Division. Prior to that time she worked in
Washington for General Growth Properties as General Manager of Shopping Centers
totaling over 1.9 million square feet and for Diamond Parking managing two CBD high rise
office buildings of over 315,000 square feet.
Her focus within GVA Kidder Mathews is to continue to develop relationships with her
current and future clients by exceeding their expectations and increasing the value of their
assets. Historically, she has specialized in the management and leasing of retail, office and
industrial properties in Washington and Oregon. She has been involved in property
transitions, construction management and due diligence portion of property acquisition and
excels at establishing systems and operating procedures and protocols for all types of
commercial real estate product.
Susan has managed and leased more than 3 million square feet of Class A & B office
product, retail product and industrial product as Senior Property Manager/General
Manager for private and investment owners during her sixteen years in the Real Estate
industry. The majority of her experience has been as an owner’s representative.
Susan has personally leased more than 157,000 square feet of space and has managed
tenant improvement construction valuing in ranges up to $1.8 million. Susan specializes in
adding value to assets. She has managed five Class A and B mid and high-rise office
buildings between 33,900 – 270,000 square feet each. Her experience varies from new
construction to historic registered properties. Most notably was her management of the
270,000 square foot historic high rise, The Paulsen Center, downtown Spokane,
Washington. The Paulsen Center consisted of office, retail and conference center uses. Her
properties excel due to her positive relations with her tenants, vendors and owners and her
multi-tasking strengths. She believes that exceeding the expectations of clients and
customers should be the norm not the exception.
Susan is licensed as a Principal Broker in real estate for The State of Oregon. She is a
member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Institute of Real

Historically, she has specialized in the management and leasing of retail, office and industrial properties in Washington and Oregon. She has been involved in property transitions, construction management and due diligence portion of property acquisition and excels at establishing systems and operating procedures and protocols for all types of commercial real estate product. Susan has managed and leased more than 3 million square feet of Class A & B office product, retail product and industrial product as Senior Property Manager/General Manager for private and investment owners during her sixteen years in the Real Estate industry. The majority of her experience has been as an owner’s representative. Susan has personally leased more than 157,000 square feet of space and has managed tenant improvement construction valuing in ranges up to $1.8 million. Susan specializes in adding value to assets. She has managed five Class A and B mid and high-rise office buildings between 33,900 – 270,000 square feet each. Her experience varies from new construction to historic registered properties. Most notably was her management of the 270,000 square foot historic high rise, The Paulsen Center, downtown Spokane, Washington. The Paulsen Center consisted of office, retail and conference center uses. Her properties excel due to her positive relations with her tenants, vendors and owners and her multi-tasking strengths. She believes that exceeding the expectations of clients and customers should be the norm not the exception. Susan is licensed as a Principal Broker in real estate for The State of Oregon. She is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
