Gale Sayers was born in Wichita, Kansas in May
30, 1943 and is still alive today.

Gale Sayers was raised in Omaha, NE. He was
the second of three sons. His father worked as
a mechanic for the Goodyear Corporation. His
dreams were to be a running back. He wanted
to be a football player. Gale prepared for his
future because he kept trying.

Gale Sayers is known for his exceptional ability
to elude defensive attackers. His job was
important because he was the youngest
player ever to be enshrined in the Pro Football
Hall of Fame. Gale changed the world because
he is one of the best football players in the
world.

I think the most interesting thing about Gale
Sayers is that he is in the Hall of Fame. Gale
Sayers is inspiring to me and others because
he was one of the Bears best running backs
out of all of the running backs.
6. Facts about Gale Sayers
One fact is in his second season, Sayers led the
league in rushing with 1,231 yards. Another he
led the Bears in receiving with 34 catches. He
set another record with 2,440 all purpose
yards. Gale Sayers also got in the pro bowl Hall
of Fame in 1965. one more thing is he started
his own center. It is called the Gale Sayers
Center. It is also free and kids can go in there if
their that are 8-12.
