Horror Beneath The Tombstones By George Romero
Horror Beneath the Tombstones
The classic horror film, Night of the Living Dead, was directed by George Romero in the year
1968. It was created on an extremely low budget, yet it ended up becoming one of the most
iconic horror films of its time. Throughout the 97 minute zombie crazed horror, Romero uses a
variety of styles that have both conative and donative symbolism within the film to make the
audience feel as though the events were taking place during that time period. The more
connotative signs used in the film are based on occurring civil unrest events of the 1960s . The
various current events were used in the film to create an inner fear in which a zombie attack could
occur or even could already be happening. Many obvious and ... Show more content on

However, Romero decided to direct his ghoulish horror story in an unpolished black and white
picture that was shown over the course of a single day. His unique style of realist editing and
shots created a documentary type of newsreel footage that was parallel to the way the news was
seen in 1968. The events that were occurring during the year of 1968 were also influential to the
way the film was being told, as it made the haunting idea that mobs of bloodthirsty zombies could
be taking over in present time much more realistic. Romero also created many underlying terrors in
Night of the Living Dead by linking the civil unrest events of 1968 to various aspects of the film.
The year of the Night of The Living Dead s release was during the same time of widespread civil
unrest that scaled from coast to coast across the U.S. Troubled events such as the fear of a
nuclear war happening, the violent war overseas in Vietnam, Racial related issues and the
assassinations of both Malcom X and Martin Luther King Jr. were implemented in Romero s film.
At the time of the Night of the Living Dead s release, Americans were already fearful of space
travel and radiation being released into the air from nuclear testing. Romero used this inner fear of
high radiation emitted from nuclear materials to make the idea of deceased human beings turning
into mindless walking zombies all more realistic and haunting. Night of the Living Dead also
resembles footage

The Importance Of Complementary And Alternative Medicine
ABSTRACT
Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is increasingly popular and widely used. The
studies and research on CAM is limited compared to the traditional medicine. There are conflicting
perspectives among healthcare professional regarding the use of CAM in mainstream health setting.
CAM therapies have been progressively emerged in conventional medicine. Thus, it is important for
nurses to understand it uses and safety measure in order to provide the effective nursing care.
Chang, H., Chang, H., (2015). A review of nurses knowledge, attitudes, and ability to communicate
the risks and benefits of complementary and alternative medicine. Journal of Clinical Nursing,
24(11 12), 1466 1478. doi:10.1111/jocn.12790
This journal article is a critical review of published research studies which consider the nurses use,
attitude, and knowledge regarding complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and their
competency in playing their roles as a nurse in this practice. This article finds that nurses have
interest and positive attitude toward CAM; however, their knowledge regarding the safety and
effectiveness of CAM remain limited. Findings from this study suggest that nurses need to increase
their understanding about CAM in order to provide an effective teaching and accurate information
to patients. This article is credible and significant in demonstrating the fact that further education is
needed for nurses in CAM practice.

Sociological Analysis Of Wimpy Kid
The movie wimpy kid has many sociological concepts, theories and institutions. Sociology defines
a deviant act as an act that violates norm, including rules and expectations (Henslin 162). There are
several acts in this movie performed by the Greg. After hitting to the road trip, Susan takes everyone
s phone so that everyone spends some time together. But, when the familyreaches at a motel to take
rest Greg takes his phone from the van without his mom s permission. There is also an event in
the movie when Susan gives Rodrick her list of items to be purchased from the store. Rodrick
intentionally purchases the stuff of his choice and ignores the items of his mom s choice. Frank
wants to do some work related calls so he also picks his phone from the van. Greg and Rodrick lie
to their parents that they are going to buy a Present for Meemaw s birthday, but they go out to

Utopian Society Today
For this project I decided to take an approach that outlines every bit of society today and
transform that into what it would be like in the new utopian world. I spent hours thinking through
certain aspects of the society contemplating pros and cons at every turn. Every aspect of this
utopia had thought behind it and in truth that is the first step to creating a utopia. Society needs
to slow down and think things through more often. The outline of my Utopia that I created is
created with knowledge of existing problems in our world. Yes, some aspects of the Utopia
contain things we have never seen in our present day, but adequate research has allowed me to
make the world as realistic as possible. I know gladly welcome you to explore and interoperate...

In an article written on the issues religion brings to society the author states RELIGION achieves
its highest social ministry when it has least connection with the secular institutions of society. If
caught speaking about it by another member severe punishment will follow. Religion conflict
causes an absurd amount of problems so by not openly showing your beliefs to those outside
your family the conflict should be eliminated. Religion is banned from weddings however, as the
entire community views marriages. The head priest must be an atheist as he can not show favor to
any religion. He is essentially the librarian of the religion building and is not allowed to see the
faces of any people he services. Religion has a few other limitations as you can only practice it in
your free time. Nobody is excused from work for it. Sapnis Zeme has what is called religion weeks.

Compare And Contrast A Baseball Team And A Cell
A baseball team and a cell are actually very much alike if you think about it the right way. A cell
has many different functions and structures such as a baseball team. A cell wall may be used as
the baseball fields fence because it maintains the players structure, or were the players stand. A
cell membrane is much like the outfielders and catcher because they protect anything from going
out of the park. The nucleus is like the the coach since the coach is basically the brains of the
team and overall controls the team. The assistant coach which is like the cytoplasm because he
makes sure everyone and everything is in order and in place. The endoplasmic reticulum is like the
baseball storage since most things are kept there for later use. The

The Accident Of Emergency Medical Technician
I sharply inhaled as I heard the muffled sound of footsteps, tuning them out to return to my
slumber. However, the footsteps continued to pitter patter outside my door. Groggily, I got up and
opened my bedroom door expecting to see my brother messing around in the hallway. What I did
not expect was to see a team of Emergency Medical Technicians struggling to get my father onto a
stretcher down the stairs. It was the summer before my senior year of high school and my
siblings usually stayed up late binging the latest addictive series on Netflix. But tonight was
radically different from other late nights. Now at this moment I was paralyzed with fear and had
no idea that the events that would unfold next would test my endurance in the most strenuous
way. It was four in the morning and I was having difficulty processing what was unfolding even
though it was already laid out before me. Once our ambulance arrived to the emergency room
we were told that my father s heart beat was irregularly low and that several of his arteries were
clogged. The Electrocardiogram showed that my father had a mild heart attack and was on his
way to a more severe one, one that the doctors did not think he could come back from. His arteries
had failed to receive, as well as export bloodfrom his heart and the doctors proceeded to try to
place a stent in order to keep the paths clean. However, they continued to collapse and a stent was
no longer an option. My father urgently needed a triple bypass,

Soda Advertising Research Paper
Should Beyonce be allowed to star in soda ads? This question has started a big controversial
argument. My personal belief is she should be able to. I believe this because many other famous
people have helped sell soda before, Americans already drink soda all the time, and it is the
buyer s choice to buy the soda or not. First off, Beyonce is not the 1st or only celebrity to star in
soda ads. An article called Is It OK for Beyonce to Sell Soda? states, Lebron James and the band
One Direction have also appeared in soda advertisements recently. So if they can why can t
Beyonce? Some might say she is bigger and more famous however Lebron James is definitely the
most famous athlete at the time. Secondly Americans drink soda all the time anyway.

Social Darwinism Is An Ideology Of Society
Social Darwinism is an ideology of society that seeks to apply biological concepts of the laws of
evolution by natural selection of evolutionary theory to sociology and politics, often with the
assumption that conflict between groups in society leads to social progress as superior groups
outcompete inferior ones. How we got to the point of coining the modern term of Social Darwinism
we would have to turn to the famous man himself, Charles Darwin.
At first glance, Charles Darwin seems an unlikely revolutionary. Born in 1809, Charles grew up a
shy and unassuming member of a wealthy British family. He appeared, at least to his father, to be
lazy and directionless. But even as a child, Darwin expressed an interest in nature. Later in 1831, ...

These better adapted beings, which contribute so much to the genetic complement of following
generations of their population, are said to have greater reproductive fitness. Hence the use, and
popularization, of the phrase: survival of the fittest. (This expression is often attributed to Charles
Darwin and, although it appears in the fifth edition of his Origin of Species, 1869, it is there
attributed to Herbert Spencer.)
By fittest , of course, Spencer and Darwin didn t have in mind the commonly used meaning of the
word now, that is, the most highly qualified and/or physically adequate. The fittest referred to here,
are those animals which are the most suited to their environment, that is, those which are best fitted
to survive.
Not only did Darwin theorize that animals and plants evolved into different species through a
process of natural selection and survival of the fittest , he claimed that humans were animals
themselves, subject to the same selection process that played out in nature . This theory was then
applied to economic life. Attempts to reform society through state intervention or other means
would, therefore, interfere with natural processes; unrestricted competition and resistance of the
status quo were in accord with biological selection. The poor were the unfit and should not be

Patrick Henry Literary Devices
An American attorney and politician, Patrick Henry, in his speech to the President of the
Virginia Convention and the member of the convention on March 1775, apprises the President
and the members to be prepared for war because the acts they were using to attain peace with the
British was not working and would never work. Also, Henry was assuring them to fight smart
and God will be on their side. Patrick Henry was not all for war, but he stated that he did not
necessarily want to fight, but if he had to he would without a doubt. Patrick Henry uses a very
patriotic and persuasive tone to try to inform everyone to be aware of the possible war that they
will be shortly faced with. Before introducing the devices used to achieve his goal, historical...

It is only in the way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which
we hold to go and our country. (Henry 227). In this example, Henry is basically saying that he
knows that God wants freedom for everyone and he thinks that by winning the war, he would
succeed freedom for everyone. And he believes that it is a sign of God to fight this war. In the
speech, Patrick Henry creates pathos in a way that he is trying to create fear. It is in vain, sir, to

Time In The Great Gatsby
The concept of time is mentioned in The Great Gatsby at least 450 times, through character names,
nouns, and occurrences. Time being such a heavily focused on subject in the novel shows how
focused F. Scott Fitzgerald was on showing the positives and negatives of making time an
important aspect of how life is perceived and lived. Fitzgerald s outlook on timeis one of longing
and regret, portrayed in Gatsby s persona, actions, and hopefulness.
Gatsby is born a poor man with not much to show for himself in his early life, until he meets a
rich young lady who flips his world upside down. Daisy shows Gatsby her love built on broken
promises as she promises to marry him once he comes home from Oxford but ends up marrying
Tom Buchanan before Gatsby can be home to stop the wedding. Once Gatsby realizes this as he
returns home, he shapes his life around doing nothing but creating a world that would bring Daisy
back into his arms just like their younger days. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Computer Science Of Robots
I have had a deep interest in hands on actives since I was a young boy. Through the Computer
science class last year I was introduced to coding. This year all of my loves found a single form,
this form is called Robotics. Robotics is the science of robots, you create robots, then program
them what to do. This helps the world by making new house hold robots that could do your
laundry, or do your dishes, the possibilities are endless. Household inventions are not the only
things that robotics help, DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) hosts annual
competitions that show case the new and most useful military robots. These robots can open
doors and complete complicated tasks in a short period of time. Robots come in different shapes
and sizes, I will be the one that is engineering the newest and best robots in the future, but first I
must know WHAT MATH IS IN MY CAREER. Most Robotics engineers have fair amounts of
money and live comfortably. The hourly rates for robotics engineers range from $24.72 to
$70.76. Depending on how many hours one works, they make between $51,410 to $147,190 a
year. The wages also vary between field and practices, the fields include; Industrial, Domestic
/household, Service, Military, Entertainment, Space, and Hobby/competitions. All of these fields
have different levels of pay and different tasks and schooling required. If I want to live around

First Concentration Camp
The First Concentration Camps
The first concentration camps were very important to the entire holocaust. The Nazis were able
to imprison any people who were seen as non Aryan in camps where they would be forced to
work or they could even be killed upon arrival. Therefore, many people died in these camps
because of their race or religion. There were very brutal living conditions in most camps and it
made an enormous impact on the lives of all prisoners. The first concentration camps were
complex and heavily impacted many of the most popular camps of the holocaust. Overall, these
camps set the stage for what the holocaust would evolve by introducing what was going to happen

Adolf Hitler was very persuasive and knew how to convince people that what he was doing was

professional criminals, or to be engaging in what the regime defined as asocial behavior (United

Eros And Cupid Research Paper
Eros and Cupid were both an important part of ancient culture, playing the role of the love god.
Eros name meant love in Greek, and Cupid translates to desire in Latin. Eros was the Greek God
of love and Cupid was the Roman God of love and the Roman version of Cupid. Eros was
originally a primeval god; however, later tradition crowned him to be the son of the Greek
Goddess Aphrodite, the Greek God of beauty. On the other hand, Cupid is a little more
mysterious and many theories circulated about his ancestry. Some people reckon he was the son
of Vulcan, the Roman God of Fire, whilst others say he is the son of Venus. He was often
described as handsome young man though in art, he was portrayed as chubby, winged infant who
shoots arrows at people to make them fall in love. Eroswas a Primordial God, being the fourth God

A difference in today s society, who all picture Cupid as a tiny, winged baby that would be that
the Greek version of Eros was never portrayed that way. He was always portrayed as a handsome,
desirable young man able to woo the mortals even without his love inducing quiver. The Greek
version of Eros was also known to be a lot more powerful. Cupid, for instance, was never able to
make people hate each other. This could ve potentially contributed to him being imagined as a
chubby baby, which have connotations to kindness and happiness. Furthermore, Cupid couldn t
influence minds in the way that Eros could and was never a leader. As well as this, Cupid was
never speculated to be the son of Jupiter, like the Greek Eros was sometimes told to be the son of
Zeus. Obviously, there are many similarities between Eros and Cupid. For example, they can both
induce love. Another thing is that both their names translate to something along the lines of love in

The Structural Adjustment Program Project
The structural adjustment program project is one project of the World Bank that created substantial
problems for the assisted nation, which in this case is Burundi. The structural adjustment program
is a sort of lending program by the World Bank for countries whose economies are experiencing
crisis. However, this lending program requires certain reforms and policies to be implemented by
the receiving country in exchange for loans. In other words, the loans are strictly conditional, and
these conditionality attachments are the root cause through which the project creates problems for
the assisted nation. According to the CIA, Burundiis one of the world s poorest countries having
poor resources with a high rate of poverty, an undeveloped manufacturing sector and foreign aid
represents 42% of Burundi s national income. Retrieved from https://www.cia.gov/library
/publications/the world factbook/geos/by.html. Due to expanding budget deficits, debt servicing
accumulated in the 1970s, a coffee boom period, and war, Burundi adopted the structural
adjustment program project around the late 1980s to the 90s. The structural adjustment program
emphasized the need to pursue the policy program with special attention to macroeconomic and
public sector management. It recommends further policy actions to reinforce the restructuring of
the Burundian economy: a) active export promotion policies; b) liberalization of the labor and
financial markets; and c) promotion of private investment,

Persuasive Essay On Privacy
Privacy is a respectable notion that most of us ask for. Countries fight each other for it, people
get arrested if they invade it, and it is one of the biggest issues in The United States of America.
Privacy is a big topic here because a lot of people care about what others see, how they see them,
and how they interpret what they do. However, the National Security Act was placed in 1974 for
America s citizens to be protected from the people around us and from other countries that could
pose a threat to their safety. The problem with that is now National Security themselves has started
invading Americans and other countries privacy. Is it appropriate for the government to watch its
citizens if it means better security or is it against the constitution and just plain wrong? The fourth
amendment in the Bill of Rights, which was ratified in 1789, states that Americans have the right to
be secure in their persons, houses, and papers. As well as against unreasonable searches and
seizures, unless by a probable cause. On the contrary, the Supreme Court s interpretation of
unreasonable has varied over time. The Constitution never specifies what is reasonable and what is
not. The fourth amendment has stopped a lot of situations that could have turned deadly or
unconstitutional, but a few have slipped through because of the vase word that is used in the
definition. Another historic document was created almost two hundred years later, which was the
National Security Act. In 1974,

Canada In Ww1
In 1914, Canada was a British colony as it had been a part of the British Empire ever since the
1600 s, with a majority of Canadian citizens being of British descent. But, with Canada s
participation in World War I on the front lines and domestically, Canada repeatedly proved that
colony is not something that should be used to describe itself. Despite some of the costs,
Canadians took it upon themselves to show the Allies and the Germans who they truly are. We
emerged from the war, as not only independent of British control, but also as a major global
superpower due to the Allies military dependence on us, the economy developing skyward and full

Throughout the war, with the multitude and variety of different programs, Canada s economy
exploded by four times due to the influx of products being produced for the Allies. By doing
this, Canada in turn also changed its economy in a full self sustaining Canadian identity. For
example, due to the desperate need for ammunition and war weapons, Canada built countless
factories across the country to service the demand. It was solely a business agreement, a plan
where terms involved trade and money, between Britain and Canada. Many citizens came up to
work in the industrial production so that Canada could stabilize itself as a dominant global
economy, starting what was called the Home Front. Millions of dollars in war goods were being
manufactured and shipped to the Allies, including artillery shells, and munitions. Many people
also bought war bonds to strengthen Canada s economy so that they could return huge profits.
Farming also soared during these years, where many teenagers working on the farms to yield

Descriptive Essay On Open Mic Night
We roam around the swamped streets of New York, arms numb from attaching hundreds of
posters onto different buildings. Initially, we had planned to tape them only against the
windows of random grocery stores and other small businesses. It was my best friend, Fionn,
however, who suggested that sticking them on the lamp posts in the park, would also be a great
idea. I obviously complied, wanting to make sure there isn t a single area left untouched. Earlier
this morning, my friend, Mitch, requested a small favor from me. He said that if it isn t a hassle
at all, he d appreciate it if I strolled through the city while spreading the posters he created. They
advertised the open mic night he s hosting, and the time everyone is expected to be present at. He
would have done it himself, but he was preoccupied with the bar making sure it was spotless and
ready for tomorrow. Every month, Mitch hosts an open mic night at the bar. It s the most
anticipated event in our small town often causing the bar to reach its maximum capacity in under
an hour. Many people, including myself, look forward to attending. It s astonishing to witness how
the bar instantly transforms from a place where people get blackout drunk, to a place where anyone
can stumble in and find a safe heaven. On this particular night, locals are given an opportunity to
share their passion with the world. And I ve been fortunate enough to see it all from the emotional

The President Of The Florida Chapter Of Delta Chi Here At...
To the founders of Phi Beta Kappa, My name is Jacob Dube and I currently serve as the
President of the Florida Chapter of Delta Chi here at the University of Florida. In 1776, you all
made a decision that would forever change the course of college history at the College of
William and Mary and many other universities nationwide as you created the first American
collegiate fraternity. I cannot express my gratitude for you as you all paved the way for the
Greek system in a college and university setting. The Greek experience is one of a kind to all of
its members, and it has helped produce some of the most successful people in our country. I
would like to share to you some great news about today s Greek systems here at the University of
Florida and how you helped shape the success of so many Greek students.
The Greek communities that have risen across the country have created huge impacts on every
university that they have established themselves on. Historically, fraternities were designed for
students to discreetly meet to discuss issues and host debates that their members believed would be
deemed inappropriate by their collegiate faculties. Since their founding, fraternities and sororities
have completely revamped their focuses. They are used as social, professional, and honorary
organizations that promote many different combinations of community service, leadership, and
academic success. The ideas of brotherhood and sisterhood have also transcended the college
experience,

Analysis Of The Love Song Of J. Alfred Prufrock
The Love Song of T.S Eliot
In The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock the reader can clearly understand that T.S Eliot is
straightforward as one can get within a poem. In the beginning of the poem, one can infer that
Prufrock is being used as a facade to convey Eliot s inner self who is an introvert that doesn t
quite fit in with the modern day society. Prufrock sees his personal life as a burden that he cannot
mend while he tries to conform into the middle class society that everyone views as pristine.
Meanwhile, being scrutinized by others he has also deemed himself as weak and unworthy of life.

In college Eliot met the love of his life and he soon married Vivien Haigh Wood. This would
make Eliot a new person in the way he would write and view the world. He self trained himself to
make his writing more modern in efforts to reach a bigger crowd (Bush). These efforts would
eventually pay off with writings like Ulysses, The Wasteland, and The Love Song of J. Alfred
Prufrock. These writings would give T.S Eliot the strength to quit his job in a local bank and live
off the success of his writings. Eliot used his life struggles as his inspiration to create his
successful writings just like how he used it to create Prufrock in The Love Song of J. Alfred
Prufrock . T.S Eliot uses his poem as an outlet to express what he has experienced throughout his
personal life through Prufrock. In his poem, he makes the character, Prufrock, becomes very
judgmental on himself since Eliot has encountered many self degrading life lessons. Prufrock
believes that his worthlessness terminates his chances of any woman falling in love him and
which is the cause of his hesitance to approach women. Eliot is the same way since he got his

Striving for excellent patient care is the cornerstone of nursing. However, delivery of innovative
care requires nurses to take initiative in finding issues and concerns in current clinical practices to
promote change that leads to optimal patient outcomes. One current issue in clinical practice is the
varying patient to nurse ratios (PNRs) amongst different hospitals (Aiken et al., 2012). Having
high PNRs may lead to nurse burnout, medical errors, and ineffective nursing care (Aiken et al.,
2012; Karavasiliadou Athanasakis, 2014). The solution would be to regulate PNRs, especially in
areas such as the emergency room. To initiate this change, a task force would have to be established
to use current data and research as evidence to propose the change, implement the change and
evaluate its effectiveness.
Change Model Overview
The Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence Based Practice (JHNEBP) process can be used to
facilitate change. This process serves as a guideline to access, combine, and implement research
into nursing practice. According to Dearholt and Dang (2012), the JHNEBP is an 18 step process
that occurs in three phases. Phase one of the JHNEBP contains steps 1 through 5 and can be
summarized as the practice question phase where the issue is identified (Dearholt Dang, 2012).
Phase two is the evidence phase containing steps 6 through 10 and is where search for evidence
pertaining to the issue

What Is Eveline Dehumanization
At the end of James Joyce s Eveline, the title character s eye opening epiphany and subsequent
anxiety attack illustrate the dehumanization experienced by women in patriarchal societies. Near
the end of the story, Eveline makes a choice to leave her toxic family situation where she feels
herself in danger of her father s violence (Joyce 28) and decides to sail away with her lover, Frank.
However, as she stands with Frank on the dock, she feels him seize her hand, (Joyce 31) and he
commands her like a dog: Come! (Joyce 31). Eveline suddenly realizes that Frank s changing
behavior could indicate that he is equally as abusive as her father, and she fears that [Frank] would
drown her. After he calls her again, she cries out, No! No!

Ester Reaction
The first step in preparing the ester involved placing 10mL of an alcohol, 1 butanol, and 10mL
of an carboxylic acid, ethanoic acid, in a 50mL pear shaped flask in the staff fume hood. An
alcohol and carboxylic acid was added together as they undergo an oxidation reaction together that
produces an ester as a result, in this case, 1 butyl ethanoate. After this, the teacher added 1mL of
concentrated sulphuric acid (H2SO4) into the pear shaped flask to be used as a catalyst to increase
the rate of reaction between the two reactions, 1 butanol and ethanoic acid. The sulphuric acid acts
as a catalyst by lowering the activation energy of the reactants, and therefore, providing an
alternative path with a lower energy for the reactants to react, ultimately... Show more content on

A distillation apparatus was then set up. This distillation apparatus was used to help separate the
ester, to hopefully obtain a pure ester as a distillate. The ester was distilled by heating the pear
shaped with a Bunsen burner. However, before beginning the boiling of the ester, a mercury
thermometer was placed in the fractioning column. The bulb of the thermometer was levelled with
the intake to the condenser so that it was ensured that the temperature recorded was that of the ester
vapour that was condensed in the condenser and not the fractioning column. This was important as
the temperature of the vapour that was being condensed in the condenser represented the boiling
point of the ester, which had to be recorded to obtain a distillation range. Using a 10mL measuring
cylinder, the volume of the collected ester distillate was measured and recorded to determine the
yield. The clarity, appearance, and odour of the ester were then noted to help determine how pure

Abigail Adams Essay
Abigail Adams was a woman of high character and a loving soul. She was selfless in her thinking
and remarkable in the way she handled people. Her management skills were above average for
the normal female in the 1700s. She held many worldly interests that tied her to the political
fashion of society. She was well cultured and was able to apply this to her role of a politician s
wife with great attributes towards society. She became the buffer with regard to her husband s
temper and lack of diplomacy. She participated in many political activities. Her independent

Adams learned how to read and write at home by her father, mother, and maternal grandmother,
whom she adored. Her mother contributed to most of her education along with her sisters, during
their younger years. Because her mother had a limited amount of education, Abigail taught herself
to read (Holton, 6). When Abigail learned to read she couldn t stop reading. Her father had many
books at home that he had collected throughout the years. She devoured as many as she could,
which lead her to be very well educated in many different areas. In the 1700s many girls
unfaltering read fiction for entertainment. However, Abigail did not have frivolous taste in books.
The books that she liked the most were Shakespeare, philosophy, theology, classical, ancient history,
law, and government. She even taught herself different languages (Holton, 6). She also enjoyed
writing letters to friends and family that lived far away, which was common amongst her peers.

A. Value of each individual compensation package
Stock Option Compensation
In order to forecast the value of the stock option package, determining the call price is initially.
There are two approaches to calculate the call price for each option, black scholes and binominal
pricing. In addition, the current stock price, exercise price, time of option, annualized interest
rate, and the riskiness of the stock are the inputs for either approach. In the market, the current
price is $18.75. It is much lower than the 5 year offer exercise price for each option which is $35.
Besides, the risk free rate is 6.02% for the 5 year Treasury bill (Exhibit 4). As well, the stock...

C. Incentives
The stock option plans can create the appropriate incentives to either corporations or employees.
For the recipients, it can be regarded to tax reduction. By avoiding the income tax payments,
stock option would help the employees with high annualized income salaries by converting part
of income to capital gains. Furthermore, stock options are effective way to correlate performance
and compensation. In the other words, it implies that compensation would boost the individual
performance as well the overall performance of the firm. For the employees in high positions, the
compensation would encourage them to act in the best interest of company to foster company
growths as well as increase the stock prices. Employees, talented and excellent, are the main
purposes of creating incentive plans by the company. Generally, the stock option only benefits the
executives with high income salaries and in the decision making positions, where have ability to
impact on the company s profitability and growth. Therefore, in order to make the stock option

The Red Gaze Essay
Portraits are drawn for a reason by the artist, whether it is to send a hidden message or to hold a
memory intact. In the painting The Red Gaze by Arnold Schoenburg (1910), there seems to be a
painting of a face right on the center of the portrait with redness surrounding the eyes. The
Schoenburg clearly drew this paintingto depict his feelings toward a time in his life where he was
most troubled and was stuck between a difficult decision. Moreover, this painting depicts tone, color
, and setting, in which all the elements describe change as a painful process and how it often
makes the person feel lost in the sense of not knowing whether to accept change. The idea of tone
is depicted within the portrait through symbolism of the gaping mouth in awe. Additionally, when
a person is in shock, they tend to drop their mouth s in astonishment, whether the person is in a
happy or sad mood. However, in this scenario the viewer can clearly depict that the usage of the
color red around the eyes and the mouth gaping open, is that this face is clearly dealing with a
struggle. When a struggle is presented, the situation can be confusing at times because usually a

Barack Obama s Presidency Of The Affordable Care Act
As President Barack Obama s presidency nears completion, it is natural that America as a whole
should look back and ask the question, Am I better off than I was four, or even eight years ago?
Although there are too many issues an administration faces in eight years to focus on all of
them, one of President Obama s most notable acts in his two terms in office is the passing of the
Affordable Care Act (ACA), more commonly known as Obamacare. It remains a controversial
law, and has already faced multiple repeal attempts, challenges in the Supreme Court, a
presidential election, and continues to be challenged repeatedly in Congress. The most recent
CNN poll taken in January indicated that 51% of those polled disapproved of how President
Obama is handling health care (President Obama and the Obama Administration, para. 12). As the
2016 Presidential elections heat up, it becomes an even bigger issue on the campaign platforms of
GOP candidates. The future of the Affordable Care Act could very well lie with the next
presidential administration. With a presidency on its way out that is so well known for Obamacare
and presidential candidates using their stance on repealing the law as such a key point in their
campaigns, one can t help but wonder, how much does a candidate s standpoint on the issue affect
the public s opinion of them? Data collected in polls nationwide indicate that that despite a common
negative public opinion of Obamacare, a majority of Americans support adapting

Choices In A Midsummer Night s Dream
Choices are present in every aspect of society, and all humans are forced to make choices
throughout their lifetimes. One of those choices that must be made correlates with a theme that
resonates throughout all of William Shakespeare s plays. One of his works, A Midsummer Night s
Dream, can provoke his readers to significantly ponder on the idea of love. All individuals must

not have the luxury of being able to choose whom they love. Their hearts simply just love. This
play has a rather symbolic way of revealing its author s interpretation of this theme. Every

J. M. Barrie s Peter Pan
Peter Pan, a play written by J.M. Barrie, follows a poor family of five: the workaholic Mr.
Darling, the loving Mrs. Darling, and their children Wendy, John, and Michael. One night, the
children are lured to Neverland by Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up. In Neverland, the
children are met with dangerous adventures and are constantly pursued by Pan s nemesis Captain
Hook. But over time, the children begin to miss their family and decide to return home. In Peter Pan
, Barrie uses the similarities between Peter Pan and Mr. Darling, as well as Peter Pan and Captain
Hook, to highlight that Peter Pan is not a real entity, but a construction of eternal youth created by
the adult desire to preserve childhood forever.

Darling, that the desire to be a child forever is not only Peter Pan s wish, but the wish of adults
as well. Jacqueline Rose went so far as to say Peter Pan offers us the child for ever. It gives us
the child, but it does not speak to the child (58). When Rose says us she is referring to adults. It
is the adult that wants Peter Pan to stay young forever, not the child. Although Peter explicitly
states, I want always to be a little boy and to have fun there follows a parenthetical, so perhaps he
thinks, but it is only his greatest pretend (1354). The parenthetical suggests that perhaps this
eternity in childhood is not actually Peter s desire, but a lie he has invented to stay young
forever. The question then becomes why. The answer is revealed in Hook s heartbreak at Pan s
loss of his memories (1351). Hook embodies the fear of adults, the fear of the ticking clock.
However, Hook is unable to escape the crocodile of time, so he attempts to live forever through
Peter Pan s memory, but he is ultimately unsuccessful. Peter s inability to remember Hook
symbolizes the moving of time, a childhood Hook can never go back to and an immortality he can
never attain. By overlapping the characters of Hook and Mr. Darling onto Peter Pan, Barrie both
erases the child while simultaneously creating an artificial eternal childhood constructed by and for

Rocks and Soda
Did you know that some rumors started that said if you ate pop rocks with soda your stomach
will explode? That rumor is not true of course. Your stomach will not explode but may result in a
lot of gas. There is less carbon dioxide in a pouch of pop rocks than in half a can of soda. That
means that if you drink soda with pop rocks there will not be an explosion in your stomach. The
reason for that is because if there is not a lot of carbon dioxide than nothing is going to explode.
The soda and pop rocks experiment is mostly just mixing pop rocks and soda into a bottle. First,
sprite, Fanta and Pepsi are placed about a yard away from each other. Next, one rubber nozzle is

Generational Diversity At The Workplace Essay
Generational Diversity at the Workplace In Kathryn Tyler s article The Tethered Generation, in
Society of Human Resources Magazine, she asserts that people born between 1978 and 1999, also
known as the Millennial Generation, would bring challenges to the workplace, attributing early
access to technology and a perpetual connection to parents as causes. The article s central tenet is
that through technology, this generation s tethered relationship with peers and parents has shaped
communication, decision making, and need for connectivity. Tyler identifies the following
Millennial traits as challenges to organizations: unrealistic expectations with respect to goal setting
and planning; only adequate professionalism and work ethic, creativity and innovation, and critical
thinking and problem solving; and lack of autonomy and sense of self reliance. The article ends by
recommending that human resource management prepare for the Millennial s high maintenance
and their parent s helicoptering with policies and training programs (Tyler, 2007). This is a well
written article that uses as supporting evidence neuroscience researching findings, anecdotes,
quotations from authoritative figures, and survey statistics from HR managers. If I were a manager

Essay about Racism and Discrimination in Healthcare
Healthcare systems are microcosms of the larger society in which they exist. Where there is
structural violence or cultural violence in the larger society, so will there be evidence of
systematic inequities in the institutions of these societies. The healthcare system in Australia is one
example from a plethora of similarly situated healthcare systems in which the color of a patient s

The organizational structures of political and economic systems cause and sustain the sort of
hierarchical relations that enable dramatic differences between and across sectors of societies.
Within these hierarchies, the people at the top have privilege, wealth, and power, while those at the
bottom of the hierarchy are dominated, oppressed, and exploited (Christie, 1997). People are
harmed and killed as a result of structural violence but, unlike direct violence, it occurs more
slowly. The harm or death of oppressed people may come about because some people are
deprived of food, shelter, healthcare, and other resources (Christie, 1997). Because structural
violence is embedded in a society s way of being, over the long term, groups of people may not be
able to meet their basic needs to the degree that normal development and growth is impacted.
In the 1960s, Johan Galtung posited the construct of violence as a phenomenon generated by the
existence of social barriers that deny needs satisfaction in certain sectors of society. Galtung s
conceptual framework illustrates the relationship between the structure of society and the
inequalities experienced by its citizens. Gilman s seminal definition of structural violence reads,
physical and psychological harm that results from exploitive and unjust social, political, and
economic systems (1983, p. 8).

Rhetorical Techniques Used In Frankenstein
In this passage from Frankenstein, author Mary Shelley uses several rhetorical devices to
illustrate Victor s anxieties in the creation of his monster. Throughout this passage, Shelley uses
rhetorical questioning to demonstrate Victor s horror in the awakening of his reanimated corpse.
Shelly writes, How can I describe my emotions at this catastrophe, or how delineate the wretch
whom with such infinite pains and care I had endeavoured to form? The rhetorical questioning
used by Shelley puts the reader in Victor s mind, to feel his astonishment at the living beast
before him. The sense of fright with some dread is perfectly depicted perfectly by the use of
rhetorical questioning to show that even the main character, Victor, is not even entirely sure as to
what he has created. Yet another strong rhetorical device in Shelley s writing is her
implementation of vivid imagery. In this passage, Victor describes his ghastly creation, His limbs

where Victor may have pulled inspiration from. Although he did not intentionally want to create a

Clarkson Lumber
I.Introduction Clarkson Lumber Company has been in growth during recent years and
anticipated a further increase in sales. Despite of consistent profits, the company has suffered
shortage of cash and borrowed fund needed for its business growth. Question #1 Increasing
amount of borrowing despite of its consistent profitability came from following reasons. First is
the firm s financial position. As sales have increased by 60% from 1993 1995, the assets that
support increase of sales increased by 78% (Exhibit 1 2). The increase amount of assets is over
the amount of net income (addition to net worth). To meet financial needs, the company received
short term loans from bank, $60 in 1994 and $390 in 1995 (Exhibit 2). The gross profit... Show

Second, the restriction of investment in fixed assets can be obstacle of the business growth.
The property/sales ratio was stable around 20% from 1993 95 along with sales growth (Exhibit
2). It implies that the company kept investing to fixed asset. Therefore, I would ask bank to
change this requirement as; If the company use the funds for business unrelated purpose, the
lender has right to call immediately. If the company will not take a full advantage of the trade
discount, the company can keep their number of days purchases as 38.34 days. So, their
expected account payable is calculated by following; Average purchases per day = Annual
purchases/ 365 days = 4,277 / 365 days = 11.72 Account payable = Average purchase per day *
number of days purchases = 11.72 * 38.34 = 449.26 Therefore, note payable to bank can be
calculated through Balance sheet (Exhibit 3) as $654 K. We assume that the interest rate is 11%
of the note payable to bank but it causes the unlimited repeat of calculation. We approximated the
net worth with 1 iteration If the company will take a full advantage of the trade discount,
company s number of days purchases is 10 days. Account payable = average purchase per day *
number of days purchases = 11.72 * 10 = 117.2 Therefore, the company have to borrow around
$1,006 K from the bank in order to take a full advantage of trade discount. In this case, the
company need to increase the credit limit over $1,000K. Question #5 As a financial

  • 2. Horror Beneath The Tombstones By George Romero Horror Beneath the Tombstones The classic horror film, Night of the Living Dead, was directed by George Romero in the year 1968. It was created on an extremely low budget, yet it ended up becoming one of the most iconic horror films of its time. Throughout the 97 minute zombie crazed horror, Romero uses a variety of styles that have both conative and donative symbolism within the film to make the audience feel as though the events were taking place during that time period. The more connotative signs used in the film are based on occurring civil unrest events of the 1960s . The various current events were used in the film to create an inner fear in which a zombie attack could occur or even could already be happening. Many obvious and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, Romero decided to direct his ghoulish horror story in an unpolished black and white picture that was shown over the course of a single day. His unique style of realist editing and shots created a documentary type of newsreel footage that was parallel to the way the news was seen in 1968. The events that were occurring during the year of 1968 were also influential to the way the film was being told, as it made the haunting idea that mobs of bloodthirsty zombies could be taking over in present time much more realistic. Romero also created many underlying terrors in Night of the Living Dead by linking the civil unrest events of 1968 to various aspects of the film. The year of the Night of The Living Dead s release was during the same time of widespread civil unrest that scaled from coast to coast across the U.S. Troubled events such as the fear of a nuclear war happening, the violent war overseas in Vietnam, Racial related issues and the assassinations of both Malcom X and Martin Luther King Jr. were implemented in Romero s film. At the time of the Night of the Living Dead s release, Americans were already fearful of space travel and radiation being released into the air from nuclear testing. Romero used this inner fear of high radiation emitted from nuclear materials to make the idea of deceased human beings turning into mindless walking zombies all more realistic and haunting. The studies and research on CAM is limited compared to the traditional medicine. There are conflicting perspectives among healthcare professional regarding the use of CAM in mainstream health setting. CAM therapies have been progressively emerged in conventional medicine. This article finds that nurses have interest and positive attitude toward CAM; however, their knowledge regarding the safety and effectiveness of CAM remain limited. I spent hours thinking through certain aspects of the society contemplating pros and cons at every turn. Every aspect of this utopia had thought behind it and in truth that is the first step to creating a utopia. Society needs to slow down and think things through more often. The outline of my Utopia that I created is created with knowledge of existing problems in our world. Yes, some aspects of the Utopia contain things we have never seen in our present day, but adequate research has allowed me to make the world as realistic as possible. However, the footsteps continued to pitter patter outside my door. Groggily, I got up and opened my bedroom door expecting to see my brother messing around in the hallway. What I did not expect was to see a team of Emergency Medical Technicians struggling to get my father onto a stretcher down the stairs. It was the summer before my senior year of high school and my siblings usually stayed up late binging the latest addictive series on Netflix. But tonight was radically different from other late nights. Now at this moment I was paralyzed with fear and had no idea that the events that would unfold next would test my endurance in the most strenuous way. It was four in the morning and I was having difficulty processing what was unfolding even though it was already laid out before me. Once our ambulance arrived to the emergency room we were told that my father s heart beat was irregularly low and that several of his arteries were clogged. The Electrocardiogram showed that my father had a mild heart attack and was on his way to a more severe one, one that the doctors did not think he could come back from. His arteries had failed to receive, as well as export bloodfrom his heart and the doctors proceeded to try to place a stent in order to keep the paths clean. I believe this because many other famous people have helped sell soda before, Americans already drink soda all the time, and it is the buyer s choice to buy the soda or not. First off, Beyonce is not the 1st or only celebrity to star in soda ads. An article called Is It OK for Beyonce to Sell Soda? states, Lebron James and the band One Direction have also appeared in soda advertisements recently. So if they can why can t Beyonce? Social Darwinism Is An Ideology Of Society Social Darwinism is an ideology of society that seeks to apply biological concepts of the laws of evolution by natural selection of evolutionary theory to sociology and politics, often with the assumption that conflict between groups in society leads to social progress as superior groups outcompete inferior ones. How we got to the point of coining the modern term of Social Darwinism we would have to turn to the famous man himself, Charles Darwin. At first glance, Charles Darwin seems an unlikely revolutionary. Born in 1809, Charles grew up a shy and unassuming member of a wealthy British family. He appeared, at least to his father, to be lazy and directionless. But even as a child, Darwin expressed an interest in nature. Later in 1831, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These better adapted beings, which contribute so much to the genetic complement of following generations of their population, are said to have greater reproductive fitness. Hence the use, and popularization, of the phrase: survival of the fittest. (This expression is often attributed to Charles Darwin and, although it appears in the fifth edition of his Origin of Species, 1869, it is there attributed to Herbert Spencer.) By fittest , of course, Spencer and Darwin didn t have in mind the commonly used meaning of the word now, that is, the most highly qualified and/or physically adequate. The fittest referred to here, are those animals which are the most suited to their environment, that is, those which are best fitted to survive. Not only did Darwin theorize that animals and plants evolved into different species through a process of natural selection and survival of the fittest , he claimed that humans were animals themselves, subject to the same selection process that played out in nature . This theory was then applied to economic life. Attempts to reform society through state intervention or other means would, therefore, interfere with natural processes; unrestricted competition and resistance of the status quo were in accord with biological selection. However, the National Security Act was placed in 1974 for America s citizens to be protected from the people around us and from other countries that could pose a threat to their safety. However, delivery of innovative care requires nurses to take initiative in finding issues and concerns in current clinical practices to promote change that leads to optimal patient outcomes. One current issue in clinical practice is the varying patient to nurse ratios (PNRs) amongst different hospitals (Aiken et al., 2012). Having high PNRs may lead to nurse burnout, medical errors, and ineffective nursing care (Aiken et al., 2012; Karavasiliadou Athanasakis, 2014). The solution would be to regulate PNRs, especially in areas such as the emergency room. To initiate this change, a task force would have to be established to use current data and research as evidence to propose the change, implement the change and evaluate its effectiveness. This process serves as a guideline to access, combine, and implement research into nursing practice. Phase one of the JHNEBP contains steps 1 through 5 and can be summarized as the practice question phase where the issue is identified (Dearholt Dang, 2012). The bulb of the thermometer was levelled with the intake to the condenser so that it was ensured that the temperature recorded was that of the ester vapour that was condensed in the condenser and not the fractioning column. • 30. Barack Obama s Presidency Of The Affordable Care Act As President Barack Obama s presidency nears completion, it is natural that America as a whole should look back and ask the question, Am I better off than I was four, or even eight years ago? Although there are too many issues an administration faces in eight years to focus on all of them, one of President Obama s most notable acts in his two terms in office is the passing of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), more commonly known as Obamacare. It remains a controversial law, and has already faced multiple repeal attempts, challenges in the Supreme Court, a presidential election, and continues to be challenged repeatedly in Congress. The most recent CNN poll taken in January indicated that 51% of those polled disapproved of how President Obama is handling health care (President Obama and the Obama Administration, para. 12). As the 2016 Presidential elections heat up, it becomes an even bigger issue on the campaign platforms of GOP candidates. The future of the Affordable Care Act could very well lie with the next presidential administration. With a presidency on its way out that is so well known for Obamacare and presidential candidates using their stance on repealing the law as such a key point in their campaigns, one can t help but wonder, how much does a candidate s standpoint on the issue affect the public s opinion of them? Data collected in polls nationwide indicate that that despite a common negative public opinion of Obamacare, a majority of Americans support adapting ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

One of those choices that must be made correlates with a theme that resonates throughout all of William Shakespeare s plays. One of his works, A Midsummer Night s Dream, can provoke his readers to significantly ponder on the idea of love. All individuals must decide for themselves how love works. Is it a choice, or unavoidable feelings that can t be explained? It can be debated that in Shakespeare s A Midsummer Night s Dream, individuals do not have the luxury of being able to choose whom they love. Their hearts simply just love. • 34. J. M. Barrie s Peter Pan Peter Pan, a play written by J.M. Barrie, follows a poor family of five: the workaholic Mr. Darling, the loving Mrs. Darling, and their children Wendy, John, and Michael. One night, the children are lured to Neverland by Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up. In Neverland, the children are met with dangerous adventures and are constantly pursued by Pan s nemesis Captain Hook. But over time, the children begin to miss their family and decide to return home. Jacqueline Rose went so far as to say Peter Pan offers us the child for ever. It gives us the child, but it does not speak to the child (58). When Rose says us she is referring to adults. It is the adult that wants Peter Pan to stay young forever, not the child. Although Peter explicitly states, I want always to be a little boy and to have fun there follows a parenthetical, so perhaps he thinks, but it is only his greatest pretend (1354). The parenthetical suggests that perhaps this eternity in childhood is not actually Peter s desire, but a lie he has invented to stay young forever. The question then becomes why. The answer is revealed in Hook s heartbreak at Pan s loss of his memories (1351). Hook embodies the fear of adults, the fear of the ticking clock. However, Hook is unable to escape the crocodile of time, so he attempts to live forever through Peter Pan s memory, but he is ultimately unsuccessful. Peter s inability to remember Hook symbolizes the moving of time, a childhood Hook can never go back to and an immortality he can never attain. By overlapping the characters of Hook and Mr. Darling onto Peter Pan, Barrie both erases the child while simultaneously creating an artificial eternal childhood constructed by and for ... That means that if you drink soda with pop rocks there will not be an explosion in your stomach. The reason for that is because if there is not a lot of carbon dioxide than nothing is going to explode. The soda and pop rocks experiment is mostly just mixing pop rocks and soda into a bottle. Generational Diversity At The Workplace Essay Generational Diversity at the Workplace In Kathryn Tyler s article The Tethered Generation, in Society of Human Resources Magazine, she asserts that people born between 1978 and 1999, also known as the Millennial Generation, would bring challenges to the workplace, attributing early access to technology and a perpetual connection to parents as causes. The article s central tenet is that through technology, this generation s tethered relationship with peers and parents has shaped communication, decision making, and need for connectivity. Tyler identifies the following Millennial traits as challenges to organizations: unrealistic expectations with respect to goal setting and planning; only adequate professionalism and work ethic, creativity and innovation, and critical thinking and problem solving; and lack of autonomy and sense of self reliance. The article ends by recommending that human resource management prepare for the Millennial s high maintenance and their parent s helicoptering with policies and training programs (Tyler, 2007). The organizational structures of political and economic systems cause and sustain the sort of hierarchical relations that enable dramatic differences between and across sectors of societies. Within these hierarchies, the people at the top have privilege, wealth, and power, while those at the bottom of the hierarchy are dominated, oppressed, and exploited (Christie, 1997). People are harmed and killed as a result of structural violence but, unlike direct violence, it occurs more slowly. The harm or death of oppressed people may come about because some people are deprived of food, shelter, healthcare, and other resources (Christie, 1997). Because structural violence is embedded in a society s way of being, over the long term, groups of people may not be able to meet their basic needs to the degree that normal development and growth is impacted. In the 1960s, Johan Galtung posited the construct of violence as a phenomenon generated by the existence of social barriers that deny needs satisfaction in certain sectors of society. Galtung s conceptual framework illustrates the relationship between the structure of society and the inequalities experienced by its citizens. Gilman s seminal definition of structural violence reads, physical and psychological harm that results from exploitive and unjust social, political, and economic systems (1983, p. 8). ... • 41. Rhetorical Techniques Used In Frankenstein In this passage from Frankenstein, author Mary Shelley uses several rhetorical devices to illustrate Victor s anxieties in the creation of his monster. Throughout this passage, Shelley uses rhetorical questioning to demonstrate Victor s horror in the awakening of his reanimated corpse. Shelly writes, How can I describe my emotions at this catastrophe, or how delineate the wretch whom with such infinite pains and care I had endeavoured to form? The rhetorical questioning used by Shelley puts the reader in Victor s mind, to feel his astonishment at the living beast before him. The sense of fright with some dread is perfectly depicted perfectly by the use of rhetorical questioning to show that even the main character, Victor, is not even entirely sure as to what he has created. Yet another strong rhetorical device in Shelley s writing is her implementation of vivid imagery. Despite of consistent profits, the company has suffered shortage of cash and borrowed fund needed for its business growth. Question #1 Increasing amount of borrowing despite of its consistent profitability came from following reasons. First is the firm s financial position. As sales have increased by 60% from 1993 1995, the assets that support increase of sales increased by 78% (Exhibit 1 2). Second, the restriction of investment in fixed assets can be obstacle of the business growth. The property/sales ratio was stable around 20% from 1993 95 along with sales growth (Exhibit 2). It implies that the company kept investing to fixed asset. Therefore, I would ask bank to change this requirement as; If the company use the funds for business unrelated purpose, the lender has right to call immediately. If the company will not take a full advantage of the trade discount, the company can keep their number of days purchases as 38.34 days. So, their expected account payable is calculated by following; Average purchases per day = Annual purchases/ 365 days = 4,277 / 365 days = 11.72 Account payable = Average purchase per day * number of days purchases = 11.72 * 38.34 = 449.26 Therefore, note payable to bank can be calculated through Balance sheet (Exhibit 3) as $654 K. We assume that the interest rate is 11% of the note payable to bank but it causes the unlimited repeat of calculation. We approximated the net worth with 1 iteration If the company will take a full advantage of the trade discount, company s number of days purchases is 10 days.
