There it was sitting, on my desk. Everytime I looked down, I would get frightened just by its
presence. My face would turn bright red and my dry throat would anxiously swallow so loud
that I clearly could hear it sitting at my desk. Remembering the story that I read the night before
was almost unattainable for me. Understanding the large vocabulary and heavy wording of each
question was nearly impossible for me to understand, similar to communicating with an illiterate
foreigner in English. Often, randomly circling answers and guessing would be my last resort to
a successful completion of the test, while hoping for a presentable grade. Reading
comprehension has always been one my weaknesses ever since the first day I picked up a book.
This weakness was not one that I could easily overlook and with each new day, it brought upon a
new level of embarrassment as I sat in school envious of my classmates. If I were to describe
myself in two words, I would choose the words passionate and determined. However, I did not
develop this personality until my last year in elementary school. All throughout elementary
school, I struggled in numerous subjects, especially in reading and grammar. In fact, I was one of

hiding with Anne really had to persevere and help each other out. When I read the diary I saw that
the most caring person was Miep. She always helped them when they needed something outside of
the annex, but I can still see how people think that people during those days were not very good at
heart. I think Mr Van Daan seemed a little rude and selfish about others.

After I saw many acts of kindness, throughout the play, based off of Anne s diary, I was
persuaded to agree with her quote that everyone is good at heart. The character that stood out the
most to me was Miep. She showed me at the beginning of the book when they all moved into the

In the Romantic period a war and a battle took place, the era learned ways to spice up production,
the play Faust was created, and there were connections between the time period and the play itself.
The first war that took place was the French Revolution.
The French Revolution began in 1789 and lasted until 1799. There were three estates in France
but one of the estates was not being treated fairly so they decided to rebel. Finally, a Constitution
was made and everyone was happy. The battle of Valmy took place September 20, 1792. Two
French armies had some issues between themselves so of course the only way to resolve the
problems was to go to war. After a few days of fighting both sides decided to negotiate and
eventually the fighting ceased. In all the trauma that the war and battle cause though Goethe was
able to find inspiration to write his play called Faust . In order to understand Faust you had to
understand the trauma inflicted on the play s author by the French Revolution. (Kolonie) In order to
deal with wars that were occurring Goethe spilled his feelings into his writing. In the play Faust
the Devil and God make a bet that the Devil cannot make God s most promising scholar turn

While doing the presentation on the topic of trolls, sexism and women online, there are few
learning outcomes that are clearly being drawn. For this piece I will be exploring the example that

The example we used in the presentation is Lushsux who is a boundary pushing street artist drew
Hillary Clinton wearing swimsuit with stars and stripes print on a wall in Footscray West. He
asked for permission from the local business owner before he do the mural. After Lushsux publish
the mural on Instagram and people started to posting on Instagram and twitter, the mural was given
an additional of US dollar bills stuffed down. Later on, Lushsux s Instagram account was blocked
and local government started to said it is offensive to draw a nearly naked women. Then Lushsux
paint her into a Muslim women and leave a message If you do consider it offensive, you are a
sexist, racist, Islam phobic, xenophobic, uncultured and ignorant bigot. No matter how Lushsux
change the mural, the local council ask the shop owner to clear it up within 10 days. At the end,
the mural has to paint back into all black then problem is solved.
