It is our contention that RM is inherently an ethical activity, since enduring relationships cannot be
built or sustained without a solid moral foundation. Before moving on, it is important to define and
clarify our view of relationship marketing. As Kotler and Keller (2006), Gummesson (1999) and
others have stated, RM has the aim of building mutually satisfying long term relations with key parties
customers, suppliers, distributors in order to earn and retain their businesses. Norberg (2001) listed 14
definitions of RM taken from the literature during the last 15 years. Most of the definitions indicate
that there are separate phases of a relationship such as its foundation and maintenance. Furthermore,
elements like trust, equity and involvement tend to foster this bond and contribute to long term partner
satisfaction. This paper is divided into four parts. First, we examine the historical roots of relationship
marketing. The second section characterizes both the American and European views on RM. Third, we
present a model of ethical relationship marketing and discuss its components. Within the model, the
theory of virtue and several relevant virtues that we believe are essential for successful RM are
examined. In the subsequent discussion, we lay the groundwork for those who might attempt to
measure the presence of these characteristics in business and consumer partnerships that have been
claimed to be successful. Finally, we draw implications for

The John Hopkins Nursing Evidence Based Practice Model is a powerful problem solving approach to
clinical decision making and is used in research. The model is designed to meet the needs of the
practicing bedside nurses and used a three step process called a PET, facilitating nurses in translating

Erikson s Phychosocial Development In The Lion King
As a child, I can remember watching the Lion King movie several times because my family loved this
timeless movie. I always just thought of it as a story about the circle of life that we all hear so much
about in church and from our parents. However, for this assignment I chose to watch this movie once
more; giving particular attention to details and thoroughly examining Simba s life stage development
in relation to Erik Erikson s psychosocial stages and Jean Piaget s cognitive development stages.
Needless to say, I was able to find significant evidence relating to these developmental theorists. The
story not only displays the hardships of maturation, and the perplexities associated with growing, but
it also deals with the search for one s own identity and responsibility. To exemplify Erickson s

Dave Brubeck s Take Five played by what fans call Dave Brubeck s Classic Quartet in the year 1959

catchy tempo and is played in 5/4 time which is a complex time signature to play at, which just goes to
show how uniquely gifted each member of the quartet is. After the songs signature bit, the quartet

is utterly wild in the speed in which he plays. Even more impressive is his seamless transition from the
solo back into the main section to close off the song. Once Brubeck finishes his solo, the band returns

part of this performance was just how seasoned all the band members were with their respective

Background and Plot Summary
Sully is a film based on the true event of the 2009 crash landing of US Airways flight 1549. The film,
directed by Clint Eastwood, details the entire true story as told by Captain Chesley Sully Sullenberger,
who piloted flight 1549. Sullenberger (the main character who is the basis for the current analysis)
was played by Tom Hanks. The film details everything from the initial bird strike, the root cause of the
crash, to the hearings held by the National Transportation Safety Board (more commonly known as
the NTSB). These hearing were to discuss the actions of Sullenberger and his First Officer on the day

Often, a person in an immensely stressful event denies it ever happened. Sidestep: this was the case
for several of the passengers on the flight as depicted in the film. One could obviously tell from the
film that Sullenberger has accepted that his plane had indeed crashed. Sullenberger, even when alone

Comparing a book to the movie that is a product of that book is always a difficult thing, but with The
Handmaid s Tale the novel and movie were quite similar. Set in the near future, in a totalitarian society
post overthrowing of the United States government, The Handmaid s Tale explores the idea that
people will endure oppression willingly as long as they receive some slight amount of power or
freedom in return. This can be seen prominently in both the film and novel. However, although the
overall idea was the same, the way that it was perceived through the movie is drastically different than
through the text version. In the novel there is a eminent absence of real names, and Handmaids are
instead referred to by nicknames that signify the Commanders they serve. They reveal little to nothing
about the Handmaids, except for the absence of their personal identities. Equivalently, although the
Aunts have individual, feminine alias, they aren t their birth names either. Significantly, it s noticed in
the novel that we were never given the name of Offred, nor her child. This differs from the movie
greatly where the characters interact with each other considerably more than depicted in the paperback
most likely to make the film more entertaining to watch, but greatly taking away from a main

The Intervention plan, written for the board of directors of Bank X, consists of two parts. The first part
includes a diagnosis of information which define the core issues that should be addressed, and
secondly provide a fitting intervention plan to guide Bank X into the right direction.

Conflict Between Conflict Management And Resolution
Learned there is still a negative association with conflict. Reflects poorly on the supervisor when there
is conflict but in reality it s only negative when the supervisor or employee, depending on the situation
does not address the conflict. Unresolved conflicts can negatively impact not only the employees
involved but also the company. Unresolved conflicts result in negative impacts not only to the
individual but also the company. Focus on the problem, not the person. Sometimes the conflict will be
reoccurring or unresolvable to the satisfaction of both parties.
The key concept that I learned or were reinforced through the readings are removing emotions, setting
a goal for the resolution and conflicts are inevitable. My position often requires me to be involved
with numerous conflicts both directly and indirectly. There are times that I encounter angry and
frustrated employees due to conflicts with both co workers and supervisors. Often I get involved and
help identify and walk both through the conflict.
One of the most critical concepts of conflict management and resolution is to remove emotions from
the issue. This is often easier said than done. It is important to remember that there are multiple
emotions from multiple people that can cloud judgement and influence our listening abilities.
Refraining from making assumptions based on emotional connection is also important. An example of

In writing this paper, I am setting out to answer a question that has been plaguing women for many
years. Why do men cheat on us? Is it something us women do that causes it? Is it something they are
taught is ok somewhere along the way? Does it have to do with the fact that their genitalia are on the
outside? Or is there no logical explanation in the universe for it? (I m leaning towards the last one, but

What I learned from this is that men will cheat as long as they can justify that they are not doing
something wrong because it is not their fault.
For the next part of my research, I consulted some magazines that I had around my house. I found an
article in the January 2004 issue of Cosmopolitan that was helpful in explaining one of the theories on
why men cheat. According to Shirley Glass, PhD, many men who cheat come from chauvinistic
cultures or families where their fathers cheated. Another point brought up by Glass in this article is
that men feel that as long as they do not love the other woman, that it is simply a physical thing, then
they are not really cheating (Koli). I guess what Glass is saying is that cheating, like abuse or
alcoholism, can be a cycle that runs in families. If a man grows up watching his father cheat on his
mother, then he is being taught that it is an acceptable practice. Also, men feel that if they do not break
their emotional promise to their significant other, then they are not doing anything wrong. While I
think the first one is understandable and a valid point, I feel the second is yet another excuse men use
to justify an unjustifiable action.
Still not satisfied with the answers I had, I went looking for more. I accessed the ProQuest search

Although the Kelly s admit to survivors guilt based on their own footage it seems like they could have
done more to prevent the tragedy that happen when the other car dumped into the whole. The only
thing that Debbie and Thomas Kelly did to warn upcoming light was to put on their flashing light.
Debbie took out her recording camera and started to record the gap between the highway, meantime a

psychological disorder that affects individuals that have survived a scarring catastrophe. The
Holocaust is one of these catastrophes that have left survivors with a sense of guilt. A study done by
Gertrude Schneider upon 50 Holocaust survivors demonstrated that some but not all had a sense of
survivors guilt (Schneider, 1975). Fourteen of the interviewed victims admitted that they felt bad for
being passive victims and that they would have preferred to have died honorably (Schneider, 1975).
Others said that there was no way that they could have fought back and prevent them from going
through that horrible experience of being in the camps (Schneider, 1975).
