The Ignorance Of Truth In The Matrix
The Matrix is a film about a simulated reality in which humans are programmed to a neural interactive
simulation. The film is very similar to the bible due to the way that it has used symbolism to present
situations and scenes. The Gospel of John and some scriptures from the bible were taken to compare
to the film to show similarity and relevance. There are themes in which the Bible and the Matrix have
in common and these are ; evil is living in the ignorance of truth, resurrection and the truth. The first
theme that will be discussed in evil is living in the ignorance of truth and this shows similarity to the
Genesis 3 story when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. The second theme is the truth and this
shows relation to the gospel of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The effectiveness of how The Matrix portrayed the gospel will also be discussed in this paragraph.
The Matrix had a scene, in which Neo fought Agent Smith to defeat the darkness and release the
human race from the simulated reality. Neo was shot not only once, but multiple times and repeatedly.
He fell and was shot even more. Neo was dead for 72 seconds which can be interpreted as 72 hours
which is equivalent to 3 days. He was brought back by love, which was Trinity and her kiss. As Trinity
leaned forward, This is the kiss of life she whispered. The kiss of life can be interpreted as the breath
of life . When Neo returned, he was more powerful than ever. Managing to defeat Agent Smith and his
posse, by dodging their bullets and powerful blows. Jesus however did not die to to come back even
more powerful, he died for people s sins, and was resurrected because of the power of God s love. Neo
proved that death can be overcome and by achieving this, he has managed to open up a possibility in
which everybody is able to recognise death and evil. When this is done, they will realise that death and
evil is not as powerful as love due to it being a stronger force. In the Bible, it talked about how a
person must atleast die once It is appointed for men to die once (Hebrews 9:27). God created earth for

Ysleta Mission for Christianizing the Tigua Indians
Ysleta Mission
Ysleta, Texas
Mission Corpus Christi de la Ysleta, the first mission in Texas, was established by Antonio de Otermín
and Fray Francisco de Ayeta in 1682 and was maintained by Franciscans for christianizing the Tigua
Indians. The Tigua came as refugees and captives with the former Governor of New Mexico, Antonio
de Otermín on his retreat to the El Paso area after his unsuccessful attempt to recover New Mexico in
the winter of 1681 82 during the Pueblo Revolt. La Misión de la Ysleta del Sur, consecrated in 1682,
was built by the Tigua (Tewa, Tiwa) speaking peoples originally from Isleta and Sandia Pueblos in
New Mexico. The mission was located east of present day El Paso. The pueblo and mission were
dedicated to the Tiguas patron, St. Anthony of Padua, became the nucleus of a community that has
existed for 300 years the oldest continuously occupied settlement in Texas. Today, Ysleta Mission is
on the National Registry of Historic Places and part of the National Historic Trail system of El
Camino Real de Tierra Adentro.
From northern New Mexico to West Texas
The Tigua have faced many challenges in the past three hundred years since arriving in what is now
West Texas, and Mission Ysleta was become the place of meeting and mixing of cultures. The original
mission church at Ysleta del Sur is believed to have been built of mud chinked logs and willow reeds.
Later, Tigua labor built a permanent mission from adobe by 1682. Bishop Salpointe, of Tucson,

Pastoral Succession Planning Paper
1. Resign/Retire/Release When It s Time The succession plan is in place to prepare the congregation
for life after its current leader. It is vital to the health of an organization for leaders to know when to
retire, resign, or otherwise step aside. Moses and Joshua, Elijah and Elisha, David and Solomon
provide three great narratives for succession. If churches would consider the examples set forth here
and in the texts referenced throughout this chapter, they may be able to more successfully pass the
baton to the next leader and decrease the failure rate of churches in transition.CHAPTER THREE
THE PROJECT To better understand current thoughts and trends in pastoral succession planning, I
first developed a questionnaire for surveying pastors and churches. The questionnaire, which was
exclusively for senior pastors, was produced in both paper and electronic form. The electronic version
of the questionnaire was distributed through the website www.surveymonkey.com and the answers
were collected using the same resource. The Pastoral Succession Planning Questionnaire consisted of
21 questions pertinent to the present and future conditions of pastors and congregations. Closed ended

Essay On Old Age
Ageing is a natural and inevitable consequence of human life. Once born, there is no scope for a man
from old age. Old age brings both physical infirmity and social predicament. The Major social
problem of older people is their adjustment to their surrounding social world in general and their
immediate families in particular. In foreseeable era, old peoples were taken care of in a joint family
structure. In the sub continental societies, old peoples were used to get honor and admiration from the
society at large. And their family treated them humanely and with care and sympathy. Advent of
industrialization and urbanization has drastically changed social and family life. The joint family has

The Impact Of Service Quality Of Indigo Airlines
Introduction
This report seeks to recommend practical strategies on how to improve service productivity, without
neglecting service quality of Indigo Airlines.
Indigo is a budget airline company headquartered at Gurgaon, India (commenced operations from 15
August 2006), specialising in domestic flights. It is the fastest growing and largest airline in India with
a market share of 37.8% as of April 2015. The airline offers about 650 daily flights connecting to 38
destinations which includes 5 international destinations with its primary hub at Indira Gandhi
International Airport, New Delhi. It presently operates am airline fleet of 96 aircraft belonging to the
Airbus A320 family.

There are two main aspects that describe and affect both service quality; the actual service customers
expected (expected service) and services perceived (perceived service). Fitzsimmons Fitzsimmons
(2001) explains that the creation of customer satisfaction for a service can be identified through a
comparison between service perceptions with service expectation, see Figure 1.
Methods
Focus on utilizing secondary airports and older terminals should reduce airport fees and also up to a
certain point it is possible to avoid head on competition with or any of the high end airline services.
This will enable less congested airports, reduce average flight times and delay incidents. Consequently
Indigo will start to attract business travellers who value punctuality and frequency.
Other important features that can be added include innovative boarding processes that yield shorter
ground waits are
Reduce and monitor air freights Since these airlines are frequent flyers reducing the load on the
aircraft. It would also improve the flying experience, especially through

A Summary Of Blue Collar Brilliance By Mike Rose
A Summary of Blue Collar Brilliance by Mike Rose.
In his essay, Blue Collar Brilliance, Mike Rose reports that blue collar workers have a powerful
capacity to develop their jobs in order to get significant results, and it is not related to what level of
education those workers have. Rose´s statements show narrative examples of how collar workers are
facing in their daily routine, how smart they are, and how those people give reasons to change the
thought of our society.
Rose begins with narrative examples of blue collar workers when he was growing up around of their
family. One of them is when his mother worked at a restaurant in Los Angeles (272). The author
declares that his mother´s restaurant was a place where many blue collar workers had to use their
cognitive skills and some special movements with their body because they had to minimize the needs
of many customers who were there (274 275). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, Joe got a job in General Motors where he could obtain a better position because of his
routine and knowledge from this place (276 277). The Professor Rose says that Joe achieved two big
things that change his life. Joe discovered an idea that decreases the quantity of energy that use the
baking ovens with the same quality of the paint. Also, he achieved that many blue collar workers didn
t have the same routine daily, and Joe gave them much more time of a break than before (277). Also,
The Writer observes that his mother and uncle left school very earlier, but they developed the

Model And Assumptions Of The Royle Nichols Model
Model and Assumptions The Royle Nichols model allows estimation of abundance from multiple
observations of present absent animals without specifically marking the animal. This model represents
the spatial distribution of the species observed. Several assumptions are made but two of them are
fundamental for this model. First one is that the spatial distribution of the animals across survey sites
follows Poisson distribution, and second is the probability of detecting an animal at a site is a function
of how many animals are actually at that site. The Poisson distribution represents the mechanism of
spatial distribution which is simply how many animals occur at each site within the study area. This
model assumes that each site is home to a certain number of species and this number does not change
overtime, which means no deaths, births, immigration or emigration of the observed species. The
Poisson distribution has as the mean parameter λ ( lambda ) which is the mean abundance across the
observed sites.
The probability density formula of for Poisson distribution is F(x)= (e^ λ)* (λ^x)/ x! Where x is the
number of animals at a given site and F(x) is the generic term of any probability distribution. Given
this information we can find the probability that a specific number of animals occupy a given site. The
graph for this formula takes different shapes. For example, if we calculate this function for λ=3 and
x=5 animals, the result is a probability of 0.10. The graph

Why Geography Matters Blij
Why Geography Matters is a 282 page book, including the epilogue, written by Harm de Blij. It was
published in New york, New York in 2005. Over the Summer I read and finished this book. This book
is full of amazing facts and knowledge that pertain to , what geography is, how it effected past
societies, how it will affect future societies, and how geography is a crucial part in our society. In the
following summarization of Why Geography Matters , i will explain three main points that embody
what this book is about, and what it tries to teach. The first main point that I want to talk about is the
author giving the reader an insight on how the rth is always changing. He starts off by talking about
ways that show the change in Earth. Ome ways that he explains are thing such as maps and charts. He
then explains how the environment is constantly changing. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

power, an economic heavyweight, a military juggernaut... and a political force... He continues on
talking about China and saying that with China s explosiveness into power, they have reached their
economical potential. Later on in the book however, he talks about Africa and how it may end up
declining, but could also end up rising. He talks about how Africa is ranked last in geographical areas
competing for American attention. He continues on talking about how Africa is affected by things
such as climate. But, there are also upsides that are happening for Africa such as less slavery and
globalization. He ends this section by saying, Africa s time and turn will come

Compare And Contrast The French Revolution And Christian...
It has been proven by historians that the French revolution is so similar in many ways to the 25th of
January revolution. Obviously, History repeats itself; as we have similar events in which took places
in different parts of the world at different eras. As both the French revolution of 1789 1799 and the
Egyptian revolution of 2011; were in different places and different times, but still they have numerous
similarities regarding their motivations, rulers, reasons, demands and methods. First, both were
inspired by other countries revolutions success in reaching their demands by revolting, for the French
were inspired by the American Revolution s success, and Egyptians were inspired by the success of
the Tunisian Revolution. Ideas ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the Attack on the Tuileries palace, the march was bigger than expected so the crowd defeated
the Swiss Guard. Same as during the Day of Anger when the government attempted to suppress the
crowd and failed as the people eventually forced them to retreat, succeeded in marching and an
excessive number of demonstrations occurred. During the March on Versailles and the Day of Anger,
women took part actively within the revolution as they marched too and risked their lives as well as
men. Similar to the storming of Bastille when the people entered the prison and freed the prisoners
taken there, in Egypt, protestors attacked prisons/police stations such as Torrah prison and the police
station in Khargah, took control and freed the prisoners taken there; and as well as the French
protestors robbed the city armory for weapons as they marched to the Palace of Versailles, the
Egyptian stole weapons from the police stations. In France, they formed the National Assembly at that
time to rule the country in a suitable way in order to control the situation, and Egypt likewise turned
everything to the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed forces by the leadership of the country in
order to control the situation. Sadly, a lot of people were injured and other died throughout both
revolutions in order to bring renaissances and improvements to their countries. Finally,

Joaquin Guzman El Chapo
Joaquin Guzman best known as El Chapo is the world s greatest drug lord. He has been captured three
times and has been able to escape twice, once in a laundry basket and the second time he managed to
escaped in an underground tunnel built in his shower cell. He was recently recaptured after being
fugitive for about six months. Joaquin entered the drug business as a teenager and later became in
charge of the Sinaloa cartel. He shops and ships by some estimates more than half of all the cocaine,
heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana that come into the United States (Penn). Many argue that El
Chapo is a really bad person that only does a lot of harm to the citizens in Mexico, but what most don

To understand this sentiment, consider the fact that out of the 120.8 million people who call Mexico
home, over half 52.3 percent, or roughly over 63 million live at or below the country s poverty line.
Couple that with a declining confidence in government (only one third of all Mexicans trust elected
officials), and you create a window for the population to turn elsewhere for role models (Martinez). A
large part of mexico lives in poverty because the lack of job opportunities the government offers to the
people. In a letter written to explain why they marched in favor of El Chapo explain how Guzman
helps people get jobs El Chapo and the drug trade provide employment opportunities that pay well. A
dream come true, in places where the government does not lend a helping hand (Rueda). The drug
business creates many jobs for people to survive in such a corrupt country that cannot provide enough
jobs. That drugs destroy. Unfortunately, as I said, where I grew up there was no other way and there
still isn t a way to survive, no way to work in our economy to be able to make a living (Somaiya) El
Chapo told Pen in his interview as Somaiya explains. El Chapo began working in the drug business at
a young age. His family s poverty is what made Guzman join the cartels. Guzman started from the
bottom and worked his way up. Now he is incharge of the Sinaloa cartel and is a very rich man. Altho

My Day My Life Essay
The day my life changed forever was January 22, 2014 when I went for a ultra sound of my baby. I
was in the office and could see the look on the face of the ultrasound technician that something was
wrong. I knew at this moment my life would be different. My stomach sunk and I was just hoping it
was not a serious health issue. I thought for sure I was going to have a panic attack. I was in my late
30 s and I knew there was a risk for issues but I had no idea what was in store for us.
The doctor came to the room and let me know that my baby could have trisomy 21 or down syndrome.
This was somewhat of a relief because I knew he would live. I needed to make an important decision
whether to have a amniocentesis or a maternal 21 blood test. If I had the amniocentesis I knew my
baby would not survive. I took the maternal 21 blood test and had to wait for two weeks for the
results. They indicated that my baby would most likely have down syndrome. The doctors and nurses
looked at me like someone had died. I was happy that my child would still be able to come into this
world even though there would be some obstacles we would have to face. I will never forget how they
looked at me when I denied further testing.
I knew no matter what the diagnosis was I would have him. I loved him, the bond I felt when I found
out I conceived was one I could never explain. Even when the doctors looked at me like I was a freak
of nature I knew what God was telling me and I put everything in his hands. I thought that I would
only have one child Miss Miya Jolee Harrison, she was born on June 30th 2003 and this was one of
the best moments of my life. My daughter was also really excited to get to meet this miracle baby boy.
On June 19, 2014 I woke up and I was 36 weeks pregnant and I was having contractions. I went to
work not thinking anything about it. I was at work and I started having contraction about eight
minutes apart and my only thought was this is too early . I drove myself to the hospital in Vincennes
In and told them that I was a high risk pregnancy and that I would need to be transferred to St. Mary s
where my doctors where. Upon arriving the nurses and doctors where really nice but you could tell

each cup of ice cream, there are different styles of the ice cream, vanilla. Every tester tries one cup of
ice cream one at a time and writes down their own thoughts on their surveys which were given. They

Euphemism In Othello
In civilisations today it is not uncommon for people to take note of someone that is of African descent
in a high position in society. This is something that is not uncommon in past centuries as well. Othello
is a romantic tragedy about a couple, in the Shakespearian era, that undergoes trials that test their faith
in one another. In the end, they are not able to stand up to the challenge and fall, or are pushed, into
the cold embrace of death. Long before the grim reaper takes either of them it is demonstrated how
Othello, the husband, is affected by his African heritage in Desdemona s, the wife s, caucasian society.
In this well written play, composed by the author and playwright William Shakespeare, uses indirect
characterization, euphemisms and specific monologues to reinforce the idea that even though Othello
is a high ranking officer and skilled warrior he is still subject to racial prejudice from his colleagues,
and this proves that skin color can be an influence on life no matter the attributes of an individual
during this particular period in history. In the beginning of the play Shakespeare makes it apparent that
Brabantio, a Venetian of high political standing, sees Othello as a good friend and an enjoyable source
of entertainment. Her father lov d me, oft invited me; Still question d me the story of my life.
(Shakespeare 1.3.128 129) Othello himself even admits to the fact that Brabantio loves to hear all his
stories growing up from childhood and invites him

The Romance Of The Rose Analysis
The Romance of the Rose was written in the 13th century by Guillaume de Lorris and Jean de Meun.
De Lorris was a French poet that wrote the first section of the poem, while De Meun was a French
author that wrote the second section. After de Lorris wrote the first section, he died, which lead to de
Meun finishing it. Their parts are related but have many differences. As de Lorris section is very
comprehendible, de Meuns is vaguer and requires more critical thinking. The poem has created an
abundance of arguments surrounding the topic of a women s dignity and role. These arguments had
immense impacts on today s pop culture. The book developed the notion of love not being an emotion,
but more of a pose. They did this by making characteristics, such as Courtesy, Beauty, and Wealthy, as
characters themselves to see how they would act in certain circumstances. This helps the reader
believe that the authors are trying to display how these traits are treated in real life. The author states,
FIer color made her look like a new rosel and her skin was so tender that one could tear it with a tiny
thorn (de Lorris 42), which helps the reader understand how the characters names will be a big part of
the poem and the moral surrounding it. It also suggests that some women are less fragile, and harder to
pursue than others which is directly related to how people perceive women outside of the poem. The
imagery and descriptions of the narrator s thoughts controls how the whole poem is

Revenge Tragedy In Hamlet
The most common approach is revenge tragedy. Revenge tragedy is the act of a character feeling the
need for revenge. The character does achieve the goal of revenge, but typically causes a tragedy by
dying himself or causing other to die in the process. Hamlet goes through his own internal conflict and
takes a long time to avenge his father s murder. Glyn Austen provides a view that Hamlet s revenge is
more orchestrated by his enemies than by himself. (Glyn 1) This argument is supported through many
parts of the play. Through Hamlet s soliloquies, the audience can conclude that Hamlet is torn by his
mission. Although he clearly wants Claudius dead, he is constantly hesitant about his future actions.
Even when he has adequate proof that his uncle did murder his father, it s almost as though Hamlet
does not want to go through with it. Also presented is the notion that Hamlet avenged the actions
against himself rather than the murder of his father. (Glyn 1) When Hamlet killed Claudius, Laertes
had already poisoned him with the tip of his blade, and Gertrude was already poisoned by the wine as
well. So, if anything, Hamlet avenged the actions against his mother and himself rather than the
murder of his father. The second common approach is psychological. The psychological approach
considers the character s, or author s, mind to attempt to gain a further understanding of the piece.
Throughout the play, the ghost of Hamlet s father appears. This apparition convinces Hamlet

The Battle Of Chancellorsville Campaign
During the American Civil War, the United States was plagued with conflict, struggle, and copious
amounts of spilled blood. Furthermore, countless battles were fought to decide the fate of slavery and
the Union as a whole. However, one of these battles in particular, the Chancellorsville Campaign,
should definitely be one of interest. Taking place after the horror of Fredericksburg, an event in which
the Union Army of the Potomac failed to take the city of Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1862 (Bowery
and Doss 27), the Chancellorsville campaign lasted from May 1 to May 5, 1863. It was an attempt by
the Union to destroy the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia that resulted in disaster for both
sides. ( Battle of Chancellorsville, Brittanica) As a matter of fact, the Chancellorsville Campaign was
such a significant development in the course of the Civil War that many happenings in this battle have
affected both the rest of this era and the years beyond. To begin with, there were three men who
played major roles in this battle, with the first being Robert Edward Lee, a Confederate general. Born
on January 19, 1807, Lee was the commander of the Army of Northern Virginia, the most capable
army in the South. ( Robert E. Lee, Brittanica) By Lee s side was another Confederate general known
as Thomas Stonewall Jackson. Indeed, Jackson was among the Civil War s most skilled tacticians,
earning the moniker Stonewall after his success at the First Battle of Bull Run in 1861.

Cultural Impact On Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina was one of the most devastating natural disasters on record in the United States
(Skinner, 2006) In August of 2005, Hurricane Katrina made landfall along the Gulf Coast destroying
buildings, homes and communities (Skinner, 2006). Storm surges and levee failures resulted in an
estimated $108 billion in physical property damage, specifically in the areas of Louisiana, Mississippi
and Alabama (Skinner, 2006). Furthermore, Katrina proved itself to be one of the deadliest disasters in
U.S. history as it claimed the lives of more than 1,800 people (Skinner, 2006).
The impact of natural disasters is often discussed in the context of physical destruction, economic or
financial consequences, or loss of human lives. While all of these factors are certainly important in
gaining a complete understanding of the devastation caused by natural disasters, the psychological
impact these traumatic events have on survivors is often overlooked. Likewise, it is essential to
consider the impact that local culture impact the government s response to disasters such as Hurricane
Katrina in order to understand why black residents reported higher incidences of psychological
distress than any other racial group. The areas most profoundly impacted by Hurricane Katrina have a
history rooted deeply in racial discrimination and segregation (Chia Chen Chen, Keith, Airriess,
Leong, 2007). Understanding this cultural history is essential in gaining a complete and
comprehensive view on why

The Alleviation Of Poverty And The Complete Eradication Of...
The alleviation of poverty and the complete eradication of financial constraints among most
individuals are two important processes that strive towards the achievement of a better life. The
inclusion of income security programs in the federal policies and programs of most governments is
supposed to protect its citizens from impoverished situations once they grow older. This paper is a
brief essay that discuses one income security program (Canada Pension Plan) that affects life in a day
to day manner in specific focus to the country of Canada.
The Canada Pension Plan is one of the income security programs set up by the government in order to
assist its citizens to save for their future (Gros et al, 2013). As a college student living within the
Canadian community, this program has numerous benefits to financial future. To begin with, the CPP
allows individuals to make contributions early in life and then begin to receive monthly payments
once individual touch the age of sixty. However, there are some factors that may influence the process
of policy making for this income security program. One of the factors that affect CPP is the salary and
remuneration one receives (Hemmeter, 2015). This is because the pension is deducted from the salary
based on the earnings that one makes.
According to Steve Hick, income security programs are mainly devised to save Canadians from
unexpected economy circumstances that could arise and interrupt their lives (2013, p. 3). Historically,

How Did Columbus Change America
Christopher Columbus, an experienced seafarer, left landmark achievements in various destinations he
set foot in. He made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain and he mistakenly thought there
was a quicker route to Asia. It turned out he landed on two unknown continents (Jane, pg.6). In the
event of making journeys, he accidentally came across to natives where he taught the spirit of
exploration injecting a great deal in America s global economy. The journey started at the beginning of
different acts like colonization.
Landing of Columbus in America shaped up the living standards of the natives from the former states
to improved measures powered by the spirit of exploration. Columbus changed the world by
introducing the land hungry Europeans to America who reshaped Mexico, Canada, and many other
Caribbean nations through exploration and use of natural resources (Mckay, pg.471). It improved the

Diocese of St. Augustine. It is located in Saint John s County and in a rather affluent section. There are
many strengths of San Juan del Rio Catholic School but there are some weaknesses that need to be
addressed. One of the main things we need at San Juan del Rio is more activities and sports teams.
Our students are very competitive and play numerous sports are a part of many clubs outside of
school. They are also very involved in many activities which require travel throughout the year.
Having more activities and sports teams throughout the school year would ensure a variety of students
enrolling in our school and would meet the needs of the students at SJDR. After school programs
develop critical traits that prepare our students or adulthood while keeping them safe and entertained.
At San Juan del Rio, there are not as many programs and sports teams because the school has reached
its capacity when it comes to rooms and fields for the students to play. Money to construct more
buildings and fields is part of the reason why the school does not have more programs than it does.
After school programs serve communities of children and youth all across the United States, and
SJDR needs to be involved in this process. This would also fix the fact that the school is mostly
Caucasian, as it would allow new opportunities for all types of students. After school programs can

Intellectual Heritage and Its Impact on Entrepreneurship
Intellectual Heritage and its Impact on Entrepreneurship: Academia and the Indian Focus on Intellect

goals and the means to attain them, much of my family has branched out from academia into the world

community, religion and family are valued above all else. Hearing the call to achieve these standards,
many in my family were called early on into the field of academia and have remained vital fixtures in
this field for many years. However, with academia comes a quest for ever increasing knowledge, and
perhaps the most valuable way to attain this knowledge is to move from the page to the real world in

Innate Essay
Innate or learned behavioural responses can be observed in a neural representation of the sensory
world. Naïve animals, which are without prior learning or experience, show an innate response to a
sensory stimulus suggesting that they are mediated by genetically determined neural circuits. Most
sensory stimuli, however, show an experience dependent response, allowing an organism to respond
appropriately in a variable and uncertain world. Thus, behav ioural relevance to sensory cues is mostly
acquired through learning. In Drosophila melanogaster, different forms of learning have been
observed in response to a number of sensory stimuli. The mushroom body (MB), in insects, is
responsible for memory formation and retrieval.

Most antennal lobe projection neurons (PNs) extend their dendrites to a single glo¬merulus while their
axons bifurcate to innervate the lateral horn and the MB of the brain. The lateral horn is thought to
mediate innate behaviours, whereas the MB translates olfactory sensory information into learned
behavioural responses. On the activation from an odorant, PN axons synapse onto the den¬drites of
the Kenyon cells (KCs) in the MB calyx. According to anatomical and physiological studies, each KC
is said to receive, on an average, 6.4 inputs from a random combination of glo¬meruli which indicates
that knowledge of a single input to the KC cannot provide information about all the additional inputs
and these connections differ in different flies.
The γ, α′/β′, and α/β lobes of the MB are formed from three classes of KCs that extend their parallel
fibers to these lobes and form synapses with a relatively small number of MB output neurons
(MBONs). The MBONs extend their dendrites into the MB lobes, while their axons are projected to
the neuropils which lie outside the MB. Modulatory input neurons which include the dopaminergic
neurons (DANs) and octo¬paminergic neurons, also innervate the MB lobes. The MBONs and DANs
extend their processes to locations such that they define spatially restricted subdomains in each lobe.
DANs are modulatory neurons of the MB that are most prevalent.

Leadership and Organization Structure Essay
Leadership and Organization Structure All organizations have a structure; criminal justice is much as
the military in regards to having a chain of command that delegates his/her authority downward from
the major command element (Stohr Collins, 2014). Max Weber defined the characteristics of a
bureaucracy as the following: there is a hierarchy of authority that has several levels where each level
is controlled by the one above them and includes formal procedures (Stillman, 2010; Stohr Collins,
2014). Each position is divided with no overlap of duties and the work environment would be
impersonal with employment decisions based on the employees technical qualifications (Stillman,

Within law enforcement, the hierarchy would look something like this: chief, assistant chief, major,
lieutenant on down to the line officers. Courts would have a judge, prosecutor, defense attorney,
bailiff, clerk, etc. and corrections would be warden, colonel, lieutenant colonel, major, captain,
lieutenant, sergeant and correctional officer (Stohr Collins, 2014). As you can see law enforcement
and corrections is very similar to the military rank structure. Directives will flow from the top echelon
to the middle and then to the lowest level. In law enforcement, it is a general thought that at certain
times of the month speeding tickets seem to increase and we jokingly say the officer must be trying to
make his monthly quota. If this statement is indeed true, then, it implies that the supervisor is checking
the number of written tickets, therefore, placing more emphasis on the quantity not the quality of
work. Holding employees accountable is paramount; however, when superiors are micromanaging,
valuable time is wasted. The time could have been utilized reviewing the results of the subordinate s
actions. When law enforcement officers are forced to adopt

What Was The Primary Cause Of The Northern Rebellion
The Northern rebellion of 1569 was the only potentially threatening rebellion of Elizabeth I s reign,
led by Northern Earls who were discontent with religious reforms and intervention in the North of
England. The primary cause of this rebellion, which in this case is the cause that acted as a clear
catalyst, will be explored in this essay. The arrival of Mary Queen of Scots, the influence of William
Cecil, and the religious concerns of the Northern Earls are all important causes of the Northern
Rebellion, however without a doubt in this case it was Mary s arrival in England that was the primary

What Are The Three Philosophies Of Legalism
Philosophies are logical studies of basic truths about values, knowledge, and ultimately, the world.
China had three primary philosophies which were considered as religions: Legalism Confucianism,

that a powerful yet efficient government accompanied by a strict legal system is the key to order in
society. One thing Legalists fear is disorder in society; that is why they believe order is important.

Fitzsimmons Fitzsimmons (2001) explains that the creation of customer satisfaction for a service can be identified through a comparison between service perceptions with service expectation, see Figure 1. Methods Focus on utilizing secondary airports and older terminals should reduce airport fees and also up to a certain point it is possible to avoid head on competition with or any of the high end airline services. This will enable less congested airports, reduce average flight times and delay incidents. Consequently Indigo will start to attract business travellers who value punctuality and frequency. Other important features that can be added include innovative boarding processes that yield shorter ground waits are Reduce and monitor air freights Since these airlines are frequent flyers reducing the load on the aircraft. • 9. A Summary Of Blue Collar Brilliance By Mike Rose A Summary of Blue Collar Brilliance by Mike Rose. In his essay, Blue Collar Brilliance, Mike Rose reports that blue collar workers have a powerful capacity to develop their jobs in order to get significant results, and it is not related to what level of education those workers have. Rose´s statements show narrative examples of how collar workers are facing in their daily routine, how smart they are, and how those people give reasons to change the thought of our society. Rose begins with narrative examples of blue collar workers when he was growing up around of their family. One of them is when his mother worked at a restaurant in Los Angeles (272). The author declares that his mother´s restaurant was a place where many blue collar workers had to use their cognitive skills and some special movements with their body because they had to minimize the needs of many customers who were there (274 275). ... Also, he achieved that many blue collar workers didn t have the same routine daily, and Joe gave them much more time of a break than before (277). • 10. Model And Assumptions Of The Royle Nichols Model Model and Assumptions The Royle Nichols model allows estimation of abundance from multiple observations of present absent animals without specifically marking the animal. This model represents the spatial distribution of the species observed. Several assumptions are made but two of them are fundamental for this model. First one is that the spatial distribution of the animals across survey sites follows Poisson distribution, and second is the probability of detecting an animal at a site is a function of how many animals are actually at that site. The Poisson distribution represents the mechanism of spatial distribution which is simply how many animals occur at each site within the study area. This model assumes that each site is home to a certain number of species and this number does not change overtime, which means no deaths, births, immigration or emigration of the observed species. The Poisson distribution has as the mean parameter λ ( lambda ) which is the mean abundance across the observed sites. The probability density formula of for Poisson distribution is F(x)= (e^ λ)* (λ^x)/ x! Where x is the number of animals at a given site and F(x) is the generic term of any probability distribution. Given this information we can find the probability that a specific number of animals occupy a given site. The graph for this formula takes different shapes. For example, if we calculate this function for λ=3 and x=5 animals, the result is a probability of 0.10. The graph ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the following summarization of Why Geography Matters , i will explain three main points that embody what this book is about, and what it tries to teach. The first main point that I want to talk about is the author giving the reader an insight on how the rth is always changing. He starts off by talking about ways that show the change in Earth. He talks about how Africa is ranked last in geographical areas competing for American attention. He continues on talking about how Africa is affected by things such as climate. • 14. My Day My Life Essay The day my life changed forever was January 22, 2014 when I went for a ultra sound of my baby. I was in the office and could see the look on the face of the ultrasound technician that something was wrong. I knew at this moment my life would be different. My stomach sunk and I was just hoping it was not a serious health issue. I thought for sure I was going to have a panic attack. I was in my late 30 s and I knew there was a risk for issues but I had no idea what was in store for us. The doctor came to the room and let me know that my baby could have trisomy 21 or down syndrome. This was somewhat of a relief because I knew he would live. I needed to make an important decision whether to have a amniocentesis or a maternal 21 blood test. If I had the amniocentesis I knew my baby would not survive. I took the maternal 21 blood test and had to wait for two weeks for the results. They indicated that my baby would most likely have down syndrome. The doctors and nurses looked at me like someone had died. I was happy that my child would still be able to come into this world even though there would be some obstacles we would have to face. I will never forget how they looked at me when I denied further testing. I knew no matter what the diagnosis was I would have him. I loved him, the bond I felt when I found out I conceived was one I could never explain. Even when the doctors looked at me like I was a freak of nature I knew what God was telling me and I put everything in his hands. I thought that I would only have one child Miss Miya Jolee Harrison, she was born on June 30th 2003 and this was one of the best moments of my life. My daughter was also really excited to get to meet this miracle baby boy. On June 19, 2014 I woke up and I was 36 weeks pregnant and I was having contractions. I went to work not thinking anything about it. I was at work and I started having contraction about eight minutes apart and my only thought was this is too early . • 17. Euphemism In Othello In civilisations today it is not uncommon for people to take note of someone that is of African descent in a high position in society. This is something that is not uncommon in past centuries as well. Othello is a romantic tragedy about a couple, in the Shakespearian era, that undergoes trials that test their faith in one another. In the end, they are not able to stand up to the challenge and fall, or are pushed, into the cold embrace of death. Long before the grim reaper takes either of them it is demonstrated how Othello, the husband, is affected by his African heritage in Desdemona s, the wife s, caucasian society. In this well written play, composed by the author and playwright William Shakespeare, uses indirect characterization, euphemisms and specific monologues to reinforce the idea that even though Othello is a high ranking officer and skilled warrior he is still subject to racial prejudice from his colleagues, and this proves that skin color can be an influence on life no matter the attributes of an individual during this particular period in history. In the beginning of the play Shakespeare makes it apparent that Brabantio, a Venetian of high political standing, sees Othello as a good friend and an enjoyable source of entertainment. Her father lov d me, oft invited me; Still question d me the story of my life. • 19. The Romance Of The Rose Analysis The Romance of the Rose was written in the 13th century by Guillaume de Lorris and Jean de Meun. De Lorris was a French poet that wrote the first section of the poem, while De Meun was a French author that wrote the second section. After de Lorris wrote the first section, he died, which lead to de Meun finishing it. Their parts are related but have many differences. As de Lorris section is very comprehendible, de Meuns is vaguer and requires more critical thinking. The poem has created an abundance of arguments surrounding the topic of a women s dignity and role. These arguments had immense impacts on today s pop culture. The book developed the notion of love not being an emotion, but more of a pose. They did this by making characteristics, such as Courtesy, Beauty, and Wealthy, as characters themselves to see how they would act in certain circumstances. This helps the reader believe that the authors are trying to display how these traits are treated in real life. The author states, FIer color made her look like a new rosel and her skin was so tender that one could tear it with a tiny thorn (de Lorris 42), which helps the reader understand how the characters names will be a big part of the poem and the moral surrounding it. It also suggests that some women are less fragile, and harder to pursue than others which is directly related to how people perceive women outside of the poem. • 20. Revenge Tragedy In Hamlet The most common approach is revenge tragedy. Revenge tragedy is the act of a character feeling the need for revenge. The character does achieve the goal of revenge, but typically causes a tragedy by dying himself or causing other to die in the process. Hamlet goes through his own internal conflict and takes a long time to avenge his father s murder. Glyn Austen provides a view that Hamlet s revenge is more orchestrated by his enemies than by himself. (Glyn 1) This argument is supported through many parts of the play. Through Hamlet s soliloquies, the audience can conclude that Hamlet is torn by his mission. Although he clearly wants Claudius dead, he is constantly hesitant about his future actions. Even when he has adequate proof that his uncle did murder his father, it s almost as though Hamlet does not want to go through with it. Also presented is the notion that Hamlet avenged the actions against himself rather than the murder of his father. (Glyn 1) When Hamlet killed Claudius, Laertes had already poisoned him with the tip of his blade, and Gertrude was already poisoned by the wine as well. So, if anything, Hamlet avenged the actions against his mother and himself rather than the murder of his father. The second common approach is psychological. The psychological approach considers the character s, or author s, mind to attempt to gain a further understanding of the piece. Throughout the play, the ghost of Hamlet s father appears. This apparition convinces Hamlet ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Taking place after the horror of Fredericksburg, an event in which the Union Army of the Potomac failed to take the city of Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1862 (Bowery and Doss 27), the Chancellorsville campaign lasted from May 1 to May 5, 1863. Storm surges and levee failures resulted in an estimated $108 billion in physical property damage, specifically in the areas of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama (Skinner, 2006). This paper is a brief essay that discuses one income security program (Canada Pension Plan) that affects life in a day to day manner in specific focus to the country of Canada. The Canada Pension Plan is one of the income security programs set up by the government in order to assist its citizens to save for their future (Gros et al, 2013). As a college student living within the Canadian community, this program has numerous benefits to financial future. To begin with, the CPP allows individuals to make contributions early in life and then begin to receive monthly payments once individual touch the age of sixty. However, there are some factors that may influence the process of policy making for this income security program. One of the factors that affect CPP is the salary and remuneration one receives (Hemmeter, 2015). This is because the pension is deducted from the salary based on the earnings that one makes. According to Steve Hick, income security programs are mainly devised to save Canadians from unexpected economy circumstances that could arise and interrupt their lives (2013, p. 3). It is located in Saint John s County and in a rather affluent section. There are many strengths of San Juan del Rio Catholic School but there are some weaknesses that need to be addressed. One of the main things we need at San Juan del Rio is more activities and sports teams. Our students are very competitive and play numerous sports are a part of many clubs outside of school. They are also very involved in many activities which require travel throughout the year. Having more activities and sports teams throughout the school year would ensure a variety of students enrolling in our school and would meet the needs of the students at SJDR. After school programs develop critical traits that prepare our students or adulthood while keeping them safe and entertained. At San Juan del Rio, there are not as many programs and sports teams because the school has reached its capacity when it comes to rooms and fields for the students to play. Money to construct more buildings and fields is part of the reason why the school does not have more programs than it does. After school programs serve communities of children and youth all across the United States, and SJDR needs to be involved in this process. This would also fix the fact that the school is mostly Caucasian, as it would allow new opportunities for all types of students. After school programs can help students ... Coming from a long line of academic scholars, a palpable focus on leadership, community and the quest for excellence have been consistently pushed in my family, and this focus has led to a continuous breeding of like minded, well educated, community savvy entrepreneurs. In my family, academia and a connection to knowledge have run through the generations much like brown hair or blue eyes may run through the family of another, and because of the abundance of similarly driven individuals, sharing considerable goals and the means to attain them, much of my family has branched out from academia into the world of entrepreneurship in order to better themselves, their families, and the respective communities around them. Much of my family comes from India, a nation where dedication, hard work, education, community, religion and family are valued above all else. Hearing the call to achieve these standards, many in my family were called early on into the field of academia and have remained vital fixtures in this field for many years. • 35. Innate Essay Innate or learned behavioural responses can be observed in a neural representation of the sensory world. Naïve animals, which are without prior learning or experience, show an innate response to a sensory stimulus suggesting that they are mediated by genetically determined neural circuits. Most sensory stimuli, however, show an experience dependent response, allowing an organism to respond appropriately in a variable and uncertain world. Thus, behav ioural relevance to sensory cues is mostly acquired through learning. In Drosophila melanogaster, different forms of learning have been observed in response to a number of sensory stimuli. Most antennal lobe projection neurons (PNs) extend their dendrites to a single glo¬merulus while their axons bifurcate to innervate the lateral horn and the MB of the brain. The lateral horn is thought to mediate innate behaviours, whereas the MB translates olfactory sensory information into learned behavioural responses. On the activation from an odorant, PN axons synapse onto the den¬drites of the Kenyon cells (KCs) in the MB calyx. According to anatomical and physiological studies, each KC is said to receive, on an average, 6.4 inputs from a random combination of glo¬meruli which indicates that knowledge of a single input to the KC cannot provide information about all the additional inputs and these connections differ in different flies. The γ, α′/β′, and α/β lobes of the MB are formed from three classes of KCs that extend their parallel fibers to these lobes and form synapses with a relatively small number of MB output neurons (MBONs). The MBONs extend their dendrites into the MB lobes, while their axons are projected to the neuropils which lie outside the MB. Modulatory input neurons which include the dopaminergic neurons (DANs) and octo¬paminergic neurons, also innervate the MB lobes. The MBONs and DANs extend their processes to locations such that they define spatially restricted subdomains in each lobe. DANs are modulatory neurons of the MB that are most prevalent. ... Leadership and Organization Structure Essay Leadership and Organization Structure All organizations have a structure; criminal justice is much as the military in regards to having a chain of command that delegates his/her authority downward from the major command element (Stohr Collins, 2014). Max Weber defined the characteristics of a bureaucracy as the following: there is a hierarchy of authority that has several levels where each level is controlled by the one above them and includes formal procedures (Stillman, 2010; Stohr Collins, 2014). Each position is divided with no overlap of duties and the work environment would be impersonal with employment decisions based on the employees technical qualifications (Stillman, 2010; Stohr Collins, 2014). Courts would have a judge, prosecutor, defense attorney, bailiff, clerk, etc. and corrections would be warden, colonel, lieutenant colonel, major, captain, lieutenant, sergeant and correctional officer (Stohr Collins, 2014). As you can see law enforcement and corrections is very similar to the military rank structure. Directives will flow from the top echelon to the middle and then to the lowest level. In law enforcement, it is a general thought that at certain times of the month speeding tickets seem to increase and we jokingly say the officer must be trying to make his monthly quota. If this statement is indeed true, then, it implies that the supervisor is checking the number of written tickets, therefore, placing more emphasis on the quantity not the quality of work. Holding employees accountable is paramount; however, when superiors are micromanaging, valuable time is wasted. The time could have been utilized reviewing the results of the subordinate s actions.
