The term war can be defined as a clash that arises between different groups, states or nations.
Different ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, and scarce resources are just a few of many reasons
why such an act of violence may be practiced throughout the world. However, could a war ever be
completely just? And if so, who would be responsible for deeming what would and would not be
considered as being morally and theologically justified? This will be discussed in further detail later

Premise
The Just War Theory states that war can sometimes be permissible if it is satisfactorily evaluated by
the tenets of the theory. I believe that in order for a war to be just , it must always be a result of an act
of self defense against a more powerful and threatening opponent. I also believe that war should
always be considered as being the very last resort in conflict due to its many resulting consequences.

Decision makers in ELT unit in the Ministry of Education, who adopt the notion that us ing Arabic
when teaching English is a taboo , have to hear the other voice that considers the use of L1 when
teaching L2 is very helpful and works to facilitate the learning process.
Hence, the current research comes to shed light on the importance of using L1 when teaching L2 and
how we can utilise it and use it as a useful tool. Also this research will try to change the common
notion that using Arabic in English class is a deficiency.
1.1 Aims of the study
This study aims to provide a better understanding for the use of L1 when teaching L2, and how this
could be in the favour of facilitating the learning process for the students, and it should no longer be a

After reading the Preface to the Third Edition of The Norton Anthology of African American
Literature there were many things that surprised me such as the goals of this anthology, the scholars
involved in producing this anthology and the amount of revision in this edition. However, the one
thing that surprised me the most must have been the amount of pressure that the eleven scholars were
under when they were trying to produce this anthology. For example, in the beginning of Preface to

A good plot progresses like a knot that is tied up with increasingly greater complexity until the
moment of peripeteia, at which point the knot is gradually untied until it reaches a completely
unknotted conclusion.
For a tragedy to arouse pity and fear, we must observe a hero who is relatively noble going from
happiness to misery as a result of error on the part of the hero. Our pity and fear is aroused most when
it is family members who harm one another rather than enemies or strangers. In the best kind of plot,
one character narrowly avoids killing a family member unwittingly thanks to an anagnorisis that
reveals the family connection. The hero must have good qualities appropriate to his or her station and
should be portrayed realistically and consistently. Since both the character of the hero and the plot
must have logical consistency, Aristotle concludes that the untying of the plot must follow as a
necessary consequence of the plot and not from stage artifice, like a deus ex machina (a machine used
in some plays, in which an actor playing one of the gods was lowered onto the stage at the end).
Aristotle discusses thought and diction and then moves on to address epic poetry. Whereas tragedy
consists of actions presented in a dramatic form, epic poetry consists of verse presented in a narrative

The science fiction film Ex Machina revolves around an experimental study of one particular robot.
This film challenges the power of advanced technology. In the film, a young man, Caleb, agrees to
study and analyze a female robot named Ava. Ava is a robot with certain abilities that no other robot
has. While studying Ava, Caleb comes to the conclusion that he should help her escape from Nate, her
creator. Caleb eventually comes up with a plan to free Ava. However, it turns out that Ava only used
