Job Descriptions of vacant positions covered under ‘Special ERS Scheme’ for EITS



1. ETL Developers and Leads

Leads and Developers required to work on Oracle Data Integrator as part of Global Product
Development Team. The Candidates should have experience on ETL for data warehouses,
consolidating data from heterogeneous data sources, data cleansing and data quality auditing.
Experience on Oracle 9i/10g/11g with Strong knowledge of SQL, Database Triggers and Stored
Procedures is required.

Candidates with ETL experience using Oracle Data Integrator / Informatica / Ascential Data
Stage / Oracle Warehouse Builder will be considered.

Leads should have added experience on data modelling, database tuning, estimation and leading
a team of 5 to 10 developers

Process / Manufacturing Industry experience would be an advantage

Developers - Overall 3 to 5 years of ETL experience with minimum 2 years in the above skills is
required

Leads - Overall 8 to 10 years of ETL experience with minimum 5 years in the above skills is
required.



2. BI Developers and Leads

BI Leads and Developers required to work on Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
(formerly Siebel Analytics) as part of a Global Product Development Team. The candidates
should have experience on analytics architecture, developing dashboard and reports . Experience
on Oracle 9i/10/11g with strong knowledge of SQL is required.

Candidates with BI experience using OBIEE / Business Objects / Cognos / ProClarity will be
considered

Leads should have added experience on Designing, Estimation and leading a team of 5 to 10
developers

Developers - Overall 3 to 5 years of ETL experience with minimum 2 years in the above skills is
required

Leads - Overall 8 to 10 years of ETL experience with minimum 5 years in the above skills is
required.
3. CA consultants

Should have in depth 4+ yrs of relevant experience in Solution Design,
Implementation/Customization of CA products with development background of Java , web
services. Experience on integrations with various CA and Non CA Products and relevant CA
certifications would be an advantage.

CA Service Management: Experience on CA Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools 6.0,
r11.2, r12.1, CA CMDB r11.2, r12.1, CA Workflow 1.0, 1.1.x, CA Business Intelligence Web
Reporting, CA IT Client Manager  IT Asset Manager. Nice to have ITILv3 certification

CA Security: Experience on CA Single Sign on, CA Site minder, CA Identity Management, CA
SOA Manager, CA Enterprise Log Manager



4. Hyperion Professionals

Should have 3+ years of extensive experience in Hyperion. Should be able to design, build, and
manage solutions using Hyperion Business Intelligence or BI, a software tool that combines all
the functions of performance management: reporting, analysis, score carding, data integration,
event management, dashboards Hyperion Essbase , Planning, Hyperion Financial Management,
IR, Administration

Practice Lead: 10+ yrs of experience with strong banking knowledge

Data Integrator / Essbase Architect / Essbase Developer / Report Developer




5. C++ Developers, Leads and Architects



Opportunity of challenging product development in Photogrammetry domain (involving high-
end software engineering techniques). Team would be responsible for design, coding, unit tests,
code peer-reviews and technically guiding teams of bright developers.

Require highly proficient candidates with hands-on experience in developing complex
applications in VS 2005/VS 2008 IDE using C++, QT, OpenGL, Design Patterns, and OOAD.
Should have strong analytical skills and exceptional numerical computational abilities.
Photogrammetry/GIS knowledge is desirable. Experience with graphics programming will be an
added advantage. The positions require constant interaction with global development teams.

Developers: Overall 3 to 7 years of experience with minimum 3 years in above skills.

Leads: Overall 6 to 9 years of experience with minimum 6 years in above skills. Proven
experience in leading a team of 3 to 6 developers is essential.

Architects: Overall 10 to 15 years of experience with minimum 10 years in above skills.
Additional skills required are 7 to 8 years experience in designing, architecting and developing
complex applications that used C++, OpenGL, and QT.




6. . Net Developers, Leads and Architects

.NET team would be responsible for coding, unit tests, code peer-reviews and technically
guiding teams of bright developers. Opportunity of challenging product development in GIS
domains (involving high-end software engineering techniques), latest technologies – C# 2.0/ 3.0/
3.5 with ASP.NET and good understanding of one or more databases.

Require highly proficient candidates with hands-on experience in developing complex
applications using C# with ASP.NET, Design Patterns, UML, OOAD, SOA, Web services,
AJAX, JavaScript and Silverlight. Should have strong analytical skills and exceptional numeric
computational abilities. GIS knowledge is desirable. The positions require constant interaction
with global development teams.

Developers: Overall 3 to 5 years of experience with minimum 3 years in above skills.

Leads: Overall 7 to 10 years of experience with minimum 6 years in above skills. Proven
experience in leading a team of 5 to 10 developers is essential.

Architects: Overall 10 to 15 years of experience with minimum 10 years in above skills.
Additional skills required are 7 to 8 years experience in designing, architecting and developing
complex .NET web based systems, extensive experience in use of design patterns and JavaScript
in applications.



7. QA Engineers, Leads and Managers:

QA team is responsible for functional testing, performance testing, white box testing and
integration testing of different products and projects. QA team is going to work on cutting edge
technology products developed in .Net, Java and C ++ platforms. Also, team is going to work on
multiple domains like GIS, Oil, Gas, Manufacturing industries.

Require strong experience on test case development, automation using Quality Functional
Tester / Selenium, white box testing and performance testing. Also, they should have good
knowledge of any technologies like .Net, Java, C++, Web Services, AJAX, Silverlight, Various
databases, application servers. Exposure on GIS and Oil domain is desirable.

Functional QA Engineers, Leads and Managers: Hands on exp of 3 to 12 years on the above
skill set

Whitebox QA Engineers, Leads: Hands on exp on 3 to 10 years in whitebox testing having
development background on .Net, Web Services, C++, Silverlight, Java

Performance testing engineers, Leads and Managers: Hands on exp of 3 to 12 years using
different performance testing, bench marking and scalability testing using Rational tools and
open source tools, good understanding of technology and architecture of the products

Photogrammetry QA Engineers, Managers: 3 to 12 years with GIS domain experience
coupled with GIS products QA



8. Java/J2EE Developers & Leads

We are looking for exceptional Java / J2EE Engineers to work on the Bleeding Edge of
Technology and help create a Paradigm Shift in how we develop software. We invite engineers
who are passionate about their work with hands-on experience in developing complex
applications using Core Java, Eclipse plug-in development, Eclipse RCP, SWT, Swing, Design
Patterns, OOAD, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Rich Faces, A4J, Web Services, Apache
Turbine etc to name but a few components of the technology stack involved.

Working knowledge of various Application Servers like JBoss, Oracle WebLogic, IBM
WebSphere etc and various Databases like Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL etc desirable.

You should of course have strong analytical skills.

The positions require constant interaction with global development teams and you will have to
push the envelope constantly.

Developers: Overall 3 to 5 years of experience with minimum 3 years in above skills.

Leads: Overall 7 to 10 years of experience with minimum 6 years in above skills. Proven
experience in leading a team of 5 to 10 developers is essential.
Architects: Overall 10 to 15 years of experience with minimum 10 years in above skills.
Additional skills required are 7 to 8 years experience in designing, architecting and developing
complex Eclipse RCP based applications.



9. Oracle Fusion Middleware

Should have indepth experience in Web Services, XML, J2EE, SOA Technologies, BPEL, ESB,
Adapters etc. Should have good designing skills and defining deliverables for SOA Services.
Should be able to translate customer requirement to high level designing and converting into
solutions. Candidates need to have a good experience in Oracle's SOA Suite 11G, Oracle
databases, SQL, and PL/SQL and solid understanding of WSDLs, XML, XSD, and other
integration standards.Need to build BPEL processes using Oracle's BPEL Process Manager to
integrate various J2EE development tools like JDeveloper, ADF preferable.

Interface Engineers : Over all 3 to 5 yrs of J2EE Development experience with 1-3 years of
above skills req.

Interface Analysts : Over all 5 to 8 yrs of Development experience with 2-4 yrs of above skills
req. Should be able to understand SOA process and convert these processes into Low Level
Designs.

Architect : Overall 12 to 15 yrs of Development experience of which 5-6 yrs with above
relevant skills.

Administrator : Overall 3 -5 years of Oracle experience with proficiency in Oracle Fusion
Middleware, SQL, PL/SQL and also good writing skills.Pl/Sql, APEX developers: Over all 3 to
5 yrs of in Pl/Sql, APEX and interfacing with JSP



10. Enterprise Integration Architect

Enterprise System Architect with 10+ Yrs of experience experienced in enterprise integration,
his responsibilities include but not limited to – Defining the architecture and overall solution
design of large/complex projects based on SOA principles, Designing the project that uses
multiple technologies like security, portals, integration etc., Lead a team of Jr Architects /
specialists. •Work as lead architect taking architectural and design decisions and create , deliver
associated artifacts.


11. DBA/BI-DW Practice Lead

Candidate should have 15+ years of experience, out of which at least 5 years at a Manager
/senior managerial level handling not less than 50 employees providing Offshore delivery for
global Services. The person should have worked in large IT organizations and have experience in
managing multiple teams and projects having Oracle products and services. Strong technical
background and experience in Oracle DBA, Data and Code migrations, Data Warehousing, ETL
tools, Scalable & Highly available architecture, Infrastructure Management like Server and
storage administration.



12. PMO

Candidate should have strong experience in running Project Management Office with at least
10+ years of experience in IT services / projects delivery

   •   Responsible for setting up and running of a PMO providing services for IT projects such
       as guidelines, planning, scheduling, estimating, costing and risk assessment
   •   Establish project management policies and guidelines
   •   Ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of processes across projects
       and customer satisfaction
   •   Assignment of Project Managers and Projects
   •   Establish knowledge repository
   •   Develop Best practices
   •   Ensure 100% Billing and no revenue leakage, project managers
   •   Liaise with various stakeholders, Sales, Customer’s PMO
   •   Tracking Billing, Resource Utilizations, Capital and Operational expenses
   •   Creating Dashboard reports

13. Presales

Recruiter: Anto Mathews (anto.mathews@rolta.com)

Candidate should have strong IT projects management background with extensive experience in
handling complete lifecycle of Presales activities. Should have 8+ yrs of experience.



14. Oracle Apps Sr. Technical Consultant

Functional Area: Oracle Financials, Purchasing, Supply Chain (OM, INV, BOM)

   •   Candidate must have at least 4 to 6 years experience as Oracle Applications Technical
       consultant with minimum two end-to-end implementations or Upgrades covering Oracle
       Financials, Purchasing, Supply Chain (OM, INV, BOM) modules.

   •   Excellent knowledge of technology architecture (Financial Schema - Database objects –
       Tables, Views, API etc).
•   Strong development experience on technology components such as Oracle Forms,
       Reports, PL-SQL, Procedures / triggers, SQL Loaders, Workflow, Interfaces, Discoverer,
       XML & FSG reports, OA Framework – personalization and extensions.

   •   Must have experience in Customization migration work (11.5.9 to R12), Open interface /
       API development work (Approach, design, Testing and Error Handling).

   •   Should have excellent communication and documentation skill

   •   Excellent knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Implementation methodology (AIM)
       and experience in documenting deliverables (Technical Design, Data Conversion, Test
       Plan etc)

   •   Should have good analytical and trouble shooting skills



15. Junior Reporting Professionals:

We are hiring IT professionals with 3 to 4 yrs of experience with strong SQL or PL/SQL skills
with atleast 6 months to 1 year in any one of the reporting tools like Cognos / Business Objects/
Crystal Reports/ OBIEE.

16. Business Analyst – GIS :



   •   Candidate should have domain expertise in GIS, Photogrammetry or Image Processing
   •   Communications – must be able to speak in 2 languages: computers and business. Be the
       translator between the 2 communities
   •   Excellent analytical skills – detailed oriented and take the time to understand each
       problem
   •   Posses technical computer knowledge, complex modeling techniques and engineering
       systems concepts and principles
   •   Knowledge of business processes, strategies, concepts and principles of a professional IT
       organization
   •   Demonstrates ability to express and organize thoughts, ideas and information in a logical
       and concise manner both verbally and in writing
   •   Extensive knowledge in software design, development, integration and testing
       methodologies specific to GIS and .NET based applications
   •   Excellent verbal and written skills, team working and negotiation skills


Required Experience:
•   2+ years of experience working on GIS tools on project implementation/customization,
    solution architecture and requirements analysis
•   BS or MS in engineering or computer science or M.Tech/ M.Sc (Tech) in Geoinformatics
    or M.Sc/ MA in Natural Sciences with PG. Dip in Geoinformatics.

Java/J2EE Developers & Leads We are looking for exceptional Java / J2EE Engineers to work on the Bleeding Edge of Technology and help create a Paradigm Shift in how we develop software. We invite engineers who are passionate about their work with hands-on experience in developing complex applications using Core Java, Eclipse plug-in development, Eclipse RCP, SWT, Swing, Design Patterns, OOAD, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Rich Faces, A4J, Web Services, Apache Turbine etc to name but a few components of the technology stack involved.
