Podcasting: RSS
• RSS formats are written using XML
• RSS is a web format used to publish
  frequently updated works (blogs, news,
podcasts) It’s called a "feed" or "channel.”

• RSS feeds benefit creators by letting them
  send out content automatically
  (“syndication”). Readers benefit by being
  able to subscribe to updates.

• RSS feeds can be read using software called
an "RSS reader" or "feed reader" and Safari.
