2. How does your media project
represent particular social
groups?
• Costume
• Setting
• Dialogue – sound
• Body language
• Is the character conventional or stereo typical to
the genre.
• Good v’s Evil
3. How does your media project represent
particular social groups?
• My media project
represent many social
groups and in particular
the young. From the all
male actors you can tell
the genre and movie
atmosphere early on from
the car chase, action etc..
• One of the main
presentations is of the
driver of the car and the
person running. We get
the sense of good v’s evil.
• This is represented in
many ways
4. Good v’s Evil
• During our film there is a sense of Good v’s Evil. The character driving the vehicle is come
across as the evil guy during the start of the film. We never see his full face until the kick
at the end of the dream. His face is always covered from a shadow.
• As well as not seeing his face, the first bit we see of this character is him smoking a
cigarette which also gives that sense of evil.
• Through out the film he is chasing nick who is running from the car, this then makes us
believe that he must be evil.
• Nick is the man being chassed, during the film he is given aspects of being the good
person that has done nothing wrong. From the start of the film he is being chassed
however this also makes us think that he might of done something wrong to be
getting chased.
• At the end of this dream nick is kicked in the face by the driver who isn't named. This
finalises that the driver is the bad guy and gives the audience another reason to
think its good v’s evil. With nick being good.
5. Costumes
As you can see from the picture, the hoodie and
tracksuits, show the audience that this character
looks slightly scared and looks as if he is trying to
hide from someone.
Bryans character is wearing normal
clothes on way to college, you can see
that he has a nice house and nice clothes.
This shows that he has a healthily
background, including a nice phone which
also shows that he is wealthy
The driver in the dream is presented
with a strong attitude straight away.
We never see his whole face un till
the end of the dream, this gives the
audience a sense of evil. As well as
the very start to the film, the
cigarette gives the character a evil
representation.
6. What kind of media institution might distribute your

• Sky
• T.V
• Freeview
7. Revolver Entertainment
Revolver entertainment would most likely be the film company that would produce our
film. This company would also be our first choice for production. This is because of the
previous films revolver have produced. Such as chartroom, dead man running and Sket.
These films are all British, and one of our first priorities was to have a British production
company.
Revolver has a history of doing young youth and fighting movies however all aiming at
the same target audience, mainly between 18-25 males.
Revolvers films always have a little twist and many different genres. Such as fighting
movies, twisted horror movies and mainly action packed youth.
8. Revolver entertainment
Revolver entertainment might choose our film, to distribute because of its low budget
film. Another main point would be that our film is British and revolver films have a
history of doing British films.
Our film is aimed at predominantly male and aimed a older age group, where revolver
entertainment have distributed many different films with different genres however all
predominantly themed and with an ages target group between 15 – 26.
Our advertising will also be hugely important, and as the film is British we will be aiming
the film at a British audience. The film is low budget so this will result in where the movie
can go and we have decided that wouldn’t go internationally into cinemas and would just
be placed in UK cinemas.
We would make posters and have short trailers all over the internet, hoping as well on
word of mouth. As well as this we would put the trailer in front of new movies out in
cinemas, this would be shown to the target audience we are aiming for which is perfect.
