a. Single Quotation Marks
Three essential elements in the research are summed up succinctly by McKay
(2006:3): „a question problem or hypothesis, data, analysis and interpretation of
data‟.

b. Double Quotation Marks
McKay (2006:3) points out Johnson argument, “research can help us gain a richer
understanding of the many interrelated factors involved in learning”.
c. A Separated Indented Paragraph
McKay (2006:3) give definition:
The importance of research is not so much that is supplies definitive answer to
questions. Rather, research can help us gain a richer understanding of the
many interrelated factors involved in learning. It can help us see how the ways
we organize learning environments can promote or inhibit growth.
