to 2 percent of all brain tumors.

Most people do not even no they have it.
Most are found on accident through an
M.R.I(Magnetic Resonance Imaging) or
C.T(Computed tomography)scan.
6. WHAT DOES A COLLOID CYST DO TO
YOU?
•Usually Can cause headaches but
neurologists cant tell for sure if the Cyst is
what causes the headache.
•Can also block normal flow from the
third ventricle to the lateral ventricles.
•Some people even blame this Cyst for
sudden death.
IT’S A BIG DEAL!
•Can cause nausea and vomiting
7. How to treat it
If a colloid cyst becomes a problem, a surgery could be
performed.
Follow up M.R.I scans or C.T scans should be
performed after the first two months six months and
two years, to be sure the cyst does not return.
8. There has been cases where the cyst has returned.
For the most part people go on living normal lives
