• Degree (Licenciatura) in “Engenharia de Sistemas” (Universidade do Minho) • MBA ISEE (Universidade do Porto) • AMP (INSEAD) • Director of Information Systems at “Sonae Distribuição” from 1991 to 1997. • Founder of Enabler, IT integration company focused on retail information systems, and held the position ofVP at Wipro Retail after it acquired Enabler. • Founding partner of other IT companies, including MobiComp (acquired by Microsoft), IT Peers, Profimetrics, QuiiQ and Cardmobili. • Founding partner and Managing Director of Pathena, investment company / venture capital (€ 40M, focused on IT). • Member of CNEI - Conselho Nacional para o Empreendedorismo e Inovação, as well as the representative of Portugal in the Digital Agenda for Europe.
