QR stands for “Quick Response”
It’s a 2D code that can be read with the camera on
your mobile device
It’s generally square in pattern, generally black and
set against a white background

App

Android Market or for Windows

Point it at the QR Code
The App activates the camera on the
mobile device
This in turn will open up the correct

Convert any long URL’s into a QR Code to make it
easy for pupils to access a website
Print QR Codes and hang them in the classroom for
pupils to check their answers
Advertise an event – write a blog post, embed the
URL of the post in a QR Code, print it out and
display it
Stick a QR Code into a book to give pupils access to
additional information on the web, view a video
etc.
