Here are two great Valentine's Day ideas for him. Read on for more great ideas for him below!
Car Full of Balloons
This Valentine's Day idea is a bit labor intensive, but if you have kids, you might want to get them
in on it to help you out a bit. The idea is to fill your honey's car or truck full of colorful balloons. You
can put a note inside or just leave them empty. Or write something on the outside of each balloon!
Maybe put clues in the balloons which will lead him to a special treat. The possibilities are
seemingly endless! Get some balloons in red, pink and white. Then start blowing them up-you may
want to call in some reinforcements (the kids, if you have them) to help with this task. Keep them
in a secret place until your Valentine is sleeping and then late at night (or early in the morning) fill
his vehicle full of them. Make it so he'll have to pop at least a few to get into the car. Consider
leaving a note of explanation if one is needed. You might even want to try doing this while he's at
work to surprise him when he leaves for the day.
Valentine Scavenger Hunt
For a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt, you will need some paper for writing clever notes. You can
use either pre-made kid's Valentine's, make your own or cut out hearts that are large enough to
write a few words on. Decide where the end will be and what the surprise will be when he gets
there. Have fun with this! Then map out, on paper first, where you want him to go before that. If
you'll need to get some things ready while he's searching, have him go outside to the garage or
even to a little mom & pop shop where you can leave a clue with an employee there. Once you
have the locations planned out, decide if you will give him a little gift or just another clue. If you
give him a gift, decide what they will be and then make plans to acquire them sooner rather than
later. Then get on your thinking cap and start writing out the clues. You can write your own rhymes
or just a sentence or two which will lead him from to clue to clue. Here's one to get you started,
"Roses are red, violets are blue, go to the (insert location) to find your next clue." Have fun with
this; it will be a Valentine's Day he will never forget!
