AGE REQUIREMENTS
You can bring your child to BlogWorld. However, all children must be accompanied by a registered parent/guardian at all times. A separate badge
will need to be purchased for children over the age of 12 Children 12 and younger can accompany their parent/guardian but will require a
temporary pass which can be picked up at the VIP desk (Children’s access will mirror the access of their registered parent/guardian). Strollers are
not allowed into the conference or on the expo floor. We ask that you remove noisy or disruptive children from sessions and the expo floor. Some of
our sessions contain mature subject matter and language that may not be suitable for children.
BADGES
Admittance into all official BlogWorld & New Media Expo events and functions is granted through the use of an official show badge. This badge
must be worn in a visible location at all times. Badges may not be given to other individuals or resold. Badges are the sole property of Show
Management and must be surrendered at anytime it is requested by a member of the show staff. Replacement badges are available at the full
on-site registration fees.
NEW MEDIA LOUNGE
Located in front of the Expo Hall main entrance, this lounge area is open to all show participants. Free wireless internet access is available, as well
as power strips to recharge your laptops, cell phones and electronic devices.
ELECTRICAL OUTLETS / CHARGING AREAS
For your convenience, electrical power strips are available in the New Media Lounge and session rooms courtesy of BlogWorld &
New Media Expo.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Refreshment options are available for purchase by show participants at various locations inside the Javits center during the event.
KEYNOTES
The Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Keynotes are open to all Badge holders. These will be located inside the Keynote Theater
(Special Events Hall).
NO SUITCASING
Show rules strictly prohibit the solicitation of business by individuals or companies who are not official exhibitors of the show. Non-exhibiting
companies and providers may not distribute brochures or use any part of the show to conduct business. Individuals found violating this rule will be
asked to leave the show immediately without refund or compensation. Companies interested in exhibiting at future events should visit the Show
Management Office located in #1B03-04.
PRESS DESK
The BlogWorld Press Desk is located in the North Concourse Lobby. All members of the editorial press must register in the registration area at the
Media counter.

SOCIAL MEDIA BUSINESS SUMMIT BREAK AREA. 3-Day Blogger/Podcaster/Web TV, Exhibits Only, and Virtual Ticket registrants and Exhibitors will
not be able to enter this area.
TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE SHOW
New York offers a number of valuable transportation services to assist you in getting to and from the convention center. Participants may utilize
BEA/BW busses from specified hotels or catch a cab to easily get to their destinations.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS
Free wireless is provided to you by Show Management and is available in all Session Rooms, Expo Hall, and the New Media Lounge. If you
experience problems signing on, stop by our Show Management Office (1B03-04) for assistance. NO STREAMING ALLOWED via wireless, a hard
line must be purchased for any streaming—NO EXCEPTIONS.
