2. POETRY
SPRING
The fields are rich with daffodils,
A coat of clover cloaks the hills.
And I must dance, and I must sing
To see the beauty of the spring.
SUMMER
The earth is warm, the sun’s ablaze,
It is a time of carefree days;
And bees abuzz that chance to pass
May see me snoozing in the grass.
FALL
Fall is a shivering touch of cold and cozy
quilts
WINTER
The birds are gone, the world is white. Fall is the colors of orange and red and
The winds are wild, they chill and bite; yellow
The ground is thick with slush and sleet Frill is a season of pumpkings and
scarecrows
And I can barely feel my feet
Fall is the time of harvesting and saying
thanks
Autumn is fall
3. WRITINGS
SPRING
It is the beginning of spring. The weather is
getting warmer. The sun is shining. There are
only a few clouds in the sky. The birds are
building their nests, and the young leaves are
beginning to appear on the branches.
SUMMER
Summer has come. It is a very hot day. There
is not a cloud in the sky. People are sun
bathing on the beach. They are already
getting sunburnt. The children have been
playing and they are thirsty. They are buying
cool drinks and ice – cream.
4. WRITINGS
AUTUMN
It is a wet day in autumn. It has been raining all
morning. It is windy, and the sky is grey and
cloudy. Everyone is either wearing a raincoat
or carrying an umbrella. The roads and the
pavements are dirty. But of course, it could be
worse. It is not foggy today and fog is often
worse than rain.
WINTER
Winter has come. The weather is very cold.
The ground is covered with snow and the lake
is frozen. Some children are sliding on the ice
near the edge of the lake. They must be
careful, because the ice in the middle is
thin, and it may break.
