Henrietta Lacks was a young lady who died in the 1950’s of cervical cancer. Her cancerous cells are still
living today in many research labs.
Research and report on the following:
1-A brief account on the Life of Henrietta Lacks
2-What are Hela cells? How are they used and where?
3-What accomplishments and discoveries were made in cancer research by using Hela Cells?
4-Describe the controversy surrounding the use of the Hela cells. Do you think this case violates Human
rights? Explain.
5- Include a Bibliography.
