An exclusive fashion evening exudes joie de vivre with
eminent women, cancer survivors & models walking down the aisle together
This October, Satya Paul along with The Imperial was thinking PINK with PINKTOBER in
partnership with Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) to create awareness for Breast Cancer
and to assist in raising funds for CPAA, for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis,
treatment and cure. As part of Satya Paul’s annual CSR efforts, celebrating Breast Cancer
Awareness Month organized by CPAA and Imperial culminated in an evening with an exciting
play of fashion and music rendered by a sizzling performance by singer Shibani Kashyap. Famous
faces like Noyonika Chatterjee- renowned model, Vidya Tikari- Makeover artist, Kashmira
Irani- The lead actress of Zangoora from Kingdom of Dreams, Tanisha Mohan and Ala Madhu-
socialites, Anjanna Kuthiala- artist along with cancer survivors added fire to the ramp attired in
an exclusive Pink collection designed and styled by Satya Paul.
Colour Pink being synonymous with the Breast Cancer, the collection essentially is “romantic
and charming” and very feminine in styling. It highlights the “soft, delicate charm that is the
Essence of a Woman”. Amrapali jewellery with its enchanting pieces added the quintessential
glamorous touch to the evening, which was choreographed by Harmeet Bajaj and sponsored by
Avon. Vidya Tikari, the name to reckon with in the world of make-up, added to the beauty
quotient on the ramp. Presence of Guest of Honour Princess Diya Kumari of Jaipur along with
crème de la crème in the capital, spelled magic in the whole initiative.
