2. As you can see this is Interphase, where the cell is doing its normal functions, and is preparing for mitosis. Centrioles, divide into two, preparing to line up the chromosomes and separate them. Microtubules are getting ready for Metaphase In the next slide you will see the chromosomes starting to duplicate.
3. Early Prophase, the chromosomes are all in a clump preparing to duplicate and separate. The microtubules start to assemble them selves for their job. The Microtubules start to make there way around the nucleus getting ready for separation. The centrioles separate to make two Chromosomes, start to duplicate
4. In prophase the nuclear membrane starts to dissolve, after the chromosomes duplicate and the DNA is copied. The nucleus has almost fully dissolved The centrioles have connected to the microtubules
5. In late prophase the nuclear membrane is fully dissolved and the microtubules have made there way around the chromosomes preparing to separate. The chromosomes are preparing to line up The nucleus is fully dissolved.
6. The microtubules are ready to separate the chromosomes The chromosomes are lined up Next is prometaphase, in this stage the chromes line them selves up, to be separated.
7. Now that the chromosomes are lined up, we have moved onto Metaphase. Where the microtubules pull apart the chromosomes. The chromosomes are pulled apart
8. In Anaphase, the microtubules are pushing against the cell wall starting to separate it into two daughter cells. The microtubules are pushing against the membrane , separating them
9. After the cell is stretched, the cycle moves onto Telophase, where the cell is almost fully apart and the nuclear membranes are recreated.
10. In Cytokinesis, the cells are fully formed and interphase starts again, where the cell does its normal jobs.
