It would be great to have the students create a digital
jeopardy game with the contents of the game being the
different categories they had learned in Spanish.
A couple categories could be:The verb SER, calendar,
time, culture, -AR verbs, or colors.
3. +Create and publish an online art gallery with examples and
commentary that demonstrate an understanding of different
historical periods, cultures, and countries. (1, 2)
I would have the students create an imovie that would
include pictures, music, and personal commentary on a
specific country.
The students would each be given a certain Spanish-
speaking country and they would be able to choose the
historical period of the country.
4. +Model legal and ethical behaviors when using information and
technology by properly selecting, acquiring, and citing
resources. (3, 5)
I would do a lesson on how to properly cite technological sources in
class.
I would then give them a sheet of printed web cites and have them
show how they would properly cite each piece of information
Lastly I would have them do a project on a Spanish-speaking
politician using only on-line sources and have them correct cite at
least 5 different sources.
5. +Create media-rich presentations for other students on the
appropriate and ethical use of digital tools and resources. (1, 5)
The students would give powerpoint presentations on the proper
ways to use the digital tools and resources available to them.
Prior to working on their presentations I would have the school’s
technology coordinator give a model presentation on what the
school’s policies are.
The students would use the information from the presentation as
well as find other information on-line.
