3. Dopes target audiences are teenagers and young adults between the age of 15-22 years old. Therefore to attract those type of audiences I have represented the youth teenagers in a stereotypical way by using modern/slang language in order for audiences to feel comfortable reading the music magazine and satisfy their need and wants. Further more, I have used a young model as my main artist opposed to adults so that audiences can identify and emulate her. Similar the cloths she is wearing for example a hoody and big jeans attracts the youth of today's generation. I have presented her on the front page stereotypical of young adults by making her pose quite arrogant and selfish. In the double page spread my artist used simple colloquial language in order for teenagers to identify with. The main artist subverts the typical R&B female artist as she is wearing not to open clothes whereas in real music magazine the female artist dresses very open. On the contents page, I have used boys wearing caps and hoodies, which is stereotypical of today young male audiences, so therefore I am more likely to target them. In addition, my main artist in the contents page is wearing a dress while recording her new album illustrating her feminine side, attracking ‘girly’ females.
