their wages. The soldiers protested in the rash behavior, outside a branch of central bank in Benghazi.
They had been suffering a lot because of the overdue wages and instead of repeatedly seeking for their
salaries, they have got nothing in return. These soldiers were in their military uniforms and clutching
their arms remonstrated for their rights.
They stated the new government to focus more on building new army rather than compensating the
prior rebels who have formed a strong powerful militia. Al Mabrouk Abdullah al-Oraibi who gave his long
years of service in military accounting department but now works in the military police said the
revolutionaries have no interest or desire to join an organized military.
Additional breaking news is Large numbers of military officers were pressured into fighting for Gaddafi,
but many stayed home. Failure to pay the military soldiers three months of wages have brought the
army to revolt. Well, as such no assurances have been made from government side.
