SAMIL hosts Grand Anniversary Special Bidding Event at Shriram Automall Bangalore
Bangalore, 16 February, 2015: Shriram Automall India
Limited (SAMIL), an ISO certified Company with AA rating
from CRISIL, marked the celebration of its Bangalore
Automall’s first business anniversary by rolling out a
grand bidding event for nearly 300 customers. More than
200 pre-owned vehicles were displayed on the ramp, out
of which numerous were successfully disposed. A lucky
draw was organised and five fortunate winners were
given gift hampers.
Mr. Sameer Malhotra (CEO of SAMIL), stated “Last year, Shriram Automall Bangalore marked its inception with an
aim to bring complete organisation and transparency within the pre-owned space of automobile industry here.
After completing a year of successful bidding, we are all set to take this initiative on to the next level by offering
value-for-money transactions to our customers”.
Shriram Automall Bangalore made a substantial
contribution to the ongoing Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in
India by conducting a cleanliness session within the
Automall premises. Also, trees were planted as an
initiative towards a greener Automall. The Company’s
top officials participated in both the initiatives and made
them a huge success. Numerous Privileged Bidder Cards
and Education Scholarship cheques were also
distributed at the anniversary special bidding event.
Shriram Automall Bangalore began its operations in February, 2014,
while eyeing at organised and ethical trade practices within the pre-
owned vehicles and equipment industry. Currently, it provides a huge
bidding platform to the people of Bangalore for acquiring and
disposing a wide variety of pre-owned commercial vehicles,
construction equipment, tractors, buses, cars & SUVs, three-wheelers
and two-wheelers. For its customers seeking information on pre-
owned vehicles from different locations of India, the Automall is
equipped with a one stop classified kiosk. It’s a virtual box, containing
information on more than 20,000 vehicles and equipment, available for
disposal. Repair facility is also provided through NewLook

by Mr. Umesh Revankar (MD of STFC) along with Mr. Sameer Malhotra
(CEO of SAMIL). Today, the Company accounts for over 45 well-
structured Automalls, across the country. It also plans to set up 3 more
Automalls in February, 2015.
