2. Monopoly by Definition
Monopoly is characterized by lack of competition allowing that
enterprise for business to have significant market power, that
is, the power to charge high prices.
AT&T and Microsoft were monopoly's at one point.
The Sherman Antitrust act , passed in 1890, banned trust and
monopolistic combinations that hammered interstate and
international trade. This act acted like a hammer for the
government, giving it the power to shatter big companies into
smaller pieces to suit its own needs.
After this is when games were made to act as monopoly.
3. History Of Monopoly
Game
In 1903 Elizabeth Phillips
created game called the
“The Landlord’s Game”. This
game of buying and selling
land to get rich was
published in 1906. From 1906
until 1934 when Monopoly
was made by the Parker
Brothers. Monopoly was
published in 1935 and
though developed over the
years it still exist.

Banking Monopoly was
released in the 21st Century.
This game has all the same
concepts of the original
version only instead of having
to deal with money bills you
collect and give money on
Monopoly Debit Cards.

7. How is it better?
With all the time saving you have by just swiping
your cards you are able to really enjoy the name
of the game. The cards make you feel more
empowered as you start out with 15 Million on
each card, Collecting 2 million as you pass go
and just tossing around Millions of dollars. If I had
to buy a monopoly game it would be electronic
banking monopoly its faster with more ways to
play and more ways to win. It is also so much
easier to setup and clean up monopoly. No more
having to organize and count the paper money,
now its as simple as clearing your card and going
about your day.

appear like a gimic,

makes, setup, cleanup
and playing so much
easier.
No money to count out.
Transactions are done
through the well
thought out banking
calculator.
It's also a nice touch
that the money has
been increased to
thousands and millions
to account for inflation.

This game is great fun,
everyone from my 8 yr
old to the oldest
teenager loves it. With
the new banking
system the games
moves along much
faster and the kids love
seeing their account
balance go up. Great
fun for all!
