2. It is said that many years ago there was an indigenous woman who had an affair with a
Spanish gentleman , the relationship was consummated as a result giving three beautiful
children, to which the mother took care of devoutly , making her worship , she also longed to
form a family and their dream was fulfilled as he wished.

6. Hugging tightly and with the deep love

river to drown . children pleaded to
avoid death , but died minutes later .
The woman , realizing what he had
done could not help end his own life
unable to bear the blame for the acts
committed.

7. Since that day, the cry full of pain of
women in the river where this
happened is heard. Some say having
seen wandering desperately looking ,
with a deep cry of pain and regret
crying for their children, the lost soul
of this woman can't rest in peace ,
their cries can be heard meters away.

8. Who look through their windows they see
a woman dressed all in white, thin, calling
their children and disappears in Lake
Texcoco. Others say that women have a
dress covered with blood and his
silhouette floats on the river.
Pursues men in its path and his lament is
always the same .

9. Another version of this legend where people have come to realize that children disappear
into the river nearby places. Attributed the disappearance of these children to Moaning.
But has never been proven Moaning takes a child because they appear not quite remember
anything. Many children appear several days later with memory loss.
