  already happened in Dec 2011
 July / Aug 2012 upgrade of GeNIEus to 9.1

  • 3. Why are we migrating?  Blackboard end of life support has reached  No support for the system  Current version is old and cannot support social and open learning  New system is more user-friendly, better mobile experience and enhanced with more social and open learning
  • 4. When is migration happening?  GeNIEus new infrastructure upgrade already happened in Dec 2011  July / Aug 2012 upgrade of GeNIEus to 9.1
  • 5. How long is the migration? 2 to 3 days downtime, target to perform the migration on..
  • 6. When is the new system going live?  Roll out Blackboard Learn 9.1 in July / Aug 2012
