OPPORTUNITIES IN INDIA IN ENERGY SECTOR PRESENTED BY SAKSHI JAIN
Sun is a constant source of energy. Every day the sun enriches the earth with uncountable accounts of solar energy. But the challenge is to find ways to transform solar energy in to usable energy. Generally we think, the most efficient way to transform sunlight in to heat is to shine lots of sun light on to a dark surface. SOLAR ENERGY
Black is able to absorb the most light and hence produce the most heat.
Solar electric systems , which are also called photovoltaic or pv systems, are reliable and pollution free. They make use of a renewable source of energy- -the sun. Pv systems for homes and businesses are becoming more affordable all the time. Get your power from the sun
Photovoltaic systems convert sun light directly to electricity. Pv allows you to produce electricity without noise or air pollution- from a clean renewable resource. The basic building block of pv technology is the solar cell . What is solar electric or photovoltaic system
Production of electricity using solar cells is the best option and also helps you in saving your electricity bills to a great extent. But buying solar cells or installing a solar panels from a retailer by paying $10000 or more will not be a smart idea when you can build our own solar panel for $200. How to make solar panel at home ??
A 16 volt solar kit A 12 volt battery A dc meter A battery box Insulated copper wires Materials required :--
The solar kit will contain the solar panels or cells that will capture the sun light and convert it in to electrical energy. This can be bought from any hard ware stores near you and costs $75 or less than that. The dc meter ensures that the solar energy collected by the panels is converted in to a power supply so that it can be used for different appliances.
The battery box is to place the panels safely and to keep the panels from the reach of children.
The first step is to connect the dc meter to the 12 volt battery using the insulated copper wires. Similarly connect the solar panel to the dc meter and the battery using insulated copper wire . The completion of this step means that your solar panel is ready and all you have to do is to expose the panel to sunlight. You can place it on roof tops, gardens, near windows etc. Expose it to the sunlight for a minimum of 8 hours to obtain a desired result. procedure
You can make a solar panel for as little as $ 200 and sell them for $500, Think about for a second – after a bit of practice you can build up to 5 solar panels every week (or even more ) and sell them for a profit of $300. each that’s weekly profit of $1500. this is perfect business model. benefit
Thank you
