2. Sekolah Bestari mempunyai ciri-ciri khusus seperti P&P
menarik; berkesan dan berpusatkan murid; wujud amalan
pembelajaran akses kendiri, terarah kendiri, dan kadar
kendiri; wujud budaya penggunaan ICT dalam urus tadbir
sekolah dan P&P serta wujud perkongsian pintar dengan
pelbagai pihak.

4. • Projek Rintis Sekolah Bestari bermula pada
tahun 1999 hingga 2002 sebanyak 88 buah
sekolah. Peluasan Projek Sekolah Bestari
dikembangkan kepada 10,000 sekolah
bermula tahun 2002 hingga 2010 di bawah
Program PemBestarian Sekolah dalam
Rancangan Malaysia Ke-8 (RMK8) dan Ke-
9 (RMK9) .
5. Pengalaman Pembestarian
Sekolah Menengah Sains Muzaffar Syah (MOZAC)
Terpilih dalam kalangan 88 sekolah kohort 1
Projek Rintis Sekolah Bestari dalam tahun 1999
kategori level B yang mempunyai kemudahan 1
makmal komputer dan 1 bilik media. Kemudahan
yang terdapat dalam level B ialah jumlah komputer
yang dibekalkan sebanyak 37 unit komputer, 2
notebook dan 2 LCD. Lain-lainnya ialah 1 digital
kamera dan 1 unit pengimbas(scanner).
6. Latihan Guru
Kohort 1
- 4 orang guru menerima KDP selama 14 minggu di
Maktab perguruan dalam 4 matapelajaran

In 1996, when the Prime Minister launched the Multimedia Super Corridor, he envisioned the following changes in the Malaysian education system: the gradual transformation of traditional classrooms into electronic classrooms where information literacy, namely the selection of information from a vast array of choices, is the key to success in the Information Age lifelong education as the strategy to achieve an information-literate population in the year 2020.
