This online training course is intended for operational managers at all levels, including
supervisors, frontline managers, managers of child protection units and managers involved in
the specification, commission, monitoring and/or provision of services to children, young people
and their families.
Having completed the course, learners will know what is required to ensure that appropriate
safeguarding training, monitoring and leadership is embedded through every organisation.
On completion of this course learners will:
• Ensure Safeguarding in Service Delivery.
• Apply the Robust Model of Assurance.
• Ensure Multi-Agency Safeguarding.
Accreditation
The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally
accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
Duration
Approximately 2 and a half hours. With approximately 80 interactive screens, it is estimated
that this module will take approximately 2 and half hours to complete (depending on learning
speed). As an e-learning module you can complete this training in convenient stages and revisit
whenever you wish. The system will record your progress throughout.
Target Audience
This module is suitable for anyone involved in safeguarding, but particularly managers, senior
managers and advanced practitioners who are required to manage performance and promote
