This process involves the interplay between design and business, forming a systematic approach integrating holistic-thinking, research methods used to inform business strategy and strategic planning which provides a context for design. <br />Business Goals<br />Note: Usually phrases as specific metrics like Gain/ Retain Customers, hold current customers<br />Target Users<br />Note: Primary users for whom the interface must be a success<br />General Tasks<br />Note: The task the users are expected to accomplish<br />Technological Constraints<br />Note: Possible/Challenges given the technology<br />Marketing / Branding Goals<br />Note: Values and Personality to be projected<br />Critical Success Factors<br />Note: Key outcomes that must be met to succeed<br />Personas<br />A Persona is a concrete “Characterization” of a single user group; It synthesizes information from the User, Task and environment Profiles. It is a detailed example of a potential end-user that represents a specific target audience type; and focuses on probabilities, not possibilities. <br />Things he wants to knowThings he wants to do<br />Key factors to create Personas are:<br />,[object Object]
