Issue: Improve Sustainability Focus in Procurement
Approach: Develop and deploy a global sustainable procurement policy, with
supporting category guidance and training.
Result: Comprehensive sustainable procurement policy rolled out in 2 of 6
business units, improving supply chain sustainability performance and
preparing for roll out in remaining BUs.
Issue: Capture and Report Baseline Environmental Data
Approach: Prepare value chain greenhouse gas emissions inventory in compliance
with GHG Protocol Standard and receive third-party verification.
Result: Baseline report indicates GHG “hotspots” in supply chain, allowing client
to prioritize work; subsequent iterations of GHG inventory underway to refine
and improve data accuracy, reliability and representativeness.
Issue: Train Supply Chain Managers in Sustainability
Approach: Develop and delivery multi-session webinar curricula for client’s global
Supply Chain Academy.
Result: Hundreds of supply chain managers trained in sustainability issues ranging
