Worked with three other providers in this, busy, family practice clinic seeing new and established patients
on a walk-in basis. Responsible for taking histories and doing different types of exams such as illness
visits, well child exams, well woman exams, sports physicals, orthopedic exams, and follow up visits. Had
the opportunity to learn about the management of acute or chronic conditions in the adult patients in the
2. most cost effective manner possible since the majority did not have health insurance. Developed Spanish
educational material for the Spanish speaking patients in order to improve patient education and
treatment outcome. Other responsibilities included ordering, signing off, and interpreting labs as well as
x-ray studies performed in the clinic.

Physician Assistant
Responsible for providing primary care services to patients of all ages in several clinics located throughout
the metroplex. Such services include: histories, physical exams, treatment plans, prescription of
medications, minor office procedures, interpreting labs, and patient education.
Primary role consisted of providing medical services in any of the eight clinics whenever a provider lacked
due to the opening of a new clinic or due to illness or vacation. Other roles were also assigning
