2. The Association
• With more than 2,300
members from 42 countries,
the EACD is Europe’s leading
network for in-house
communicators.
• True to the motto “By Peers,
For Peers” we unite in-house
communicators in a pan-
European community and
provide members with the
support, tools and expertise
they need to overcome the
challenges we face and excel
as communicators.
3. Engagement
• The EACD aims to provide a truly engaging peer-to-peer community
and to offer an environment enabling members to build networks
across cultural, linguistic and political borders, allowing
communication professionals to exchange experiences, opinions and
knowledge.
• To tackle these challenges and to discuss the latest developments in
the communications landscape the EACD hosts central events such
as the annual European Communication Summit in Brussels as well
as Working Groups, Regional Debates, Coaching Days and Webinars.
4. Regional Activities
• Regional events give participants the chance to meet peers from
their respective region and share communication-related
experiences and ideas with colleagues who also work on an
international level.
• The EACD operates through a network of Regional Coordinators
who help organise events on a local level. These strengthen the
