Freedom Fest Information
For the safety of those supporting and attending the 2011 Freedom Fest, the following items are prohibited at
the Festival Fields during the event:
No pets
No privately purchased/owned fireworks
No glass containers
No weapons
No bicycles, scooters, roller blades or skateboards
No coolers, tote bags or backpacks permitted except for medical and baby care items
*Note: plastic water bottles or Nalgiene-type water bottles are allowed. Water buffalos will be on site.
Signage for prohibited items will be placed at the entrances of all parking areas and select event fields
prior to the event
If you lose or find anything during the Freedom Fest, please report to the DPS Incidence Command
Post on Crusader St. to turn in the item or to claim your missing item.
Gate hours of operation for Freedom Fest – Saturday, 2 July
Faulkner Gate from 4:00 pm – midnight
Newton Gate is closed
Tank Hill Gate is opened from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm for exit only traffic
Normal operating hours at the Enterprise, Daleville, and Ozark Gates
Back to School Brigade – Operation Homefront
From 8 July – 25 July Dollar Tree stores
Nationwide will be collecting back to school
supplies for military children. Be sure to stop by
your local Dollar Tree (Enterprise, Dothan) and
donate school supplies that will benefit Fort
Rucker’s military children.
School supplies of all kinds are available:
Pencils, pencil boxes, backpacks to put supplies
in, pens, folders, erasers, glue sticks, colored
pencils, calculators, and much more!
Farmer’s Market at the Commissary –- 28 Jun – 3July
From Tuesday, 28 Jun – Sunday, 3 July the commissary will be hosting their
Farmer’s Market. Some of the items available during this event include, but are
