1. MY LAST SEMESTER AT THE UNIVERSITY
It’s my last semester of university and I feel a bittersweet sensation
because university has been an awesome experience thus far and it’s
almost over, eleven semesters is a long time to be in the university, yes
my dear teacher it’s the last semester to take on everything, in a few days I
will be walking down to Santa Rita hall in a very attractive gown, thousand
things will go through my head, my brain will rotate at thousands of
revolutions per minute but now I m ready to start the next phase in my life.
Memorable moments come to my mind, I remember when I launch on this
journey of education, I remember sitting in the first class and thinking, I
have 5 or 6 more years of this, I m never going to make it!, and look at me
now!, time has flown by, I have learned a lot, but I know still have a long
way to go before I’m on my own. Today I have the inspiration, the
motivation to write this few lines to a special teacher, a teacher who taught
me many many things, this blonde teacher gave me the motivation to write,
she taught me to be “me” in my writings, to put a “seal” on my writing and
today I want to say a BIG gratitude to her, she has been there to support
me on this great journey of education, I have to say it hasn’t been easy,
but she has all the patience and she gives me the strength I need to make
it through.
My motivation to write this paragraph is her, my “Taller de Escritura
teacher, her name is Claudia, she has given me the guidance necessary to
improve my writing skills and she helped me become a successful student,
with her comments in my previous writings she has instilled a confidence in
me that will take me far in life’s journey, as a matter of fact she has
motivated me to become a writer, she ignites my interest in writing and I am
so excited about it, I will work hard enough every single day and keep
trying to improve my writing. Thanks teacher!
