1. What are some examples of virtual reality and how can I use them? Your students are most likely familiar with virtual reality in the form of video games, either on personal computer software or gaming devices such as XBOX 360 or the Wii. You may also be familiar with virtual reality on renovation shows that show the projected renovation on computer software.

2. Scenecaster While your students may not want to renovate a room, software like Scenecaster (see resources below) can help teach students about measurement, area and perimeter in a room.

3. Wii The Wii allows for activity and can engage students in literal activity while learning about healthy habits.

4. Virtual Field Trips Many types of virtual reality programs allow learners to take a "field trip" and explore a seemingly realistic environment and maybe take a trip back in history, which is not possible today.

5. Science & Mathematics Science and math programs allow students to manipulate objects to perform scientific and mathematical functions that they may not have they opportunity to utilize in the classroom.
