Weekend Workshop Focus and Objectives
In today’s high-paced learning environment, technology continues to
play a pivotal role to motivate, engage and promote student learning.
With so much technology at our disposal through the power of the
Internet, workshop attendees will learn how to navigate through the
myriad resources available using Web 2.0 tools. This series of workshops
is designed to help educators integrate technology seamlessly into
existing curriculum lessons for authentic, meaningful learning. Emphasis
will be placed on using 21st Century communication and Web 2.0 tools,
such as wikis, blogs, social networking, and multimedia using an
Understanding By Design approach.
