Financial planning is very important when creating or upholding a
game or app, it can be referred back to when the game begins losing
out on profit, and they can detect where the main source of money
is going to and changing it.
It shows the resources needed and the prices it’ll need to continue
production and shows info such as
Fixed price; Prices that won’t change, usually what’s being spent)
Variable costs; Prices or income that can change depending on sales
or other variable results
Break Even Point; The increase or decrease in profit after
expenditures on developing resources
Monitoring; knowing what’s costing the company and being able to
control it to be able to keep within budget.
Budget provides a ‘game plan’ for day to day or long term
operations, It can be used to persuade business investors to invest in
your idea or company.
It also shows the overall amount you have for expenditure which
links back to the financial planning amounts as knowing your budget
generates how much will be spent within each area.
