1. The expectations from the analysis phase
● Complete understanding by the analyst of the business process
● Determination of the main functional points that allow to close
the process logically
● The state diagram (UML) that describes the process, its states,
transitions and conditions for those in form of functional points
● Complete understanding of the process context from Siebel data
model perspective
● The ERD of the process context its physical and logical links
and constraints (tables, indexes, keys, data types, mvls etc...)
● Appropriate understanding/knowledge of ERD internal content
meaning the properties of each entity its nature, source etc...
● Appropriate understanding of Siebel environment abilities in
context of previously denoted process definition
1. The results of design phase
● Evaluation of the process from perspective of its appliance
within the Siebel environment – gap analysis
● Fragmentation of main functional points denoted by state
diagram into appropriate valid functional elements
● Examination of those functional elements on appliance within
the previously defined infrastructure mechanisms
● Examination of the process ERD from physical and logical
perspectives

● Mapping of needed entity properties as well as appliance of
needed physical and logical changes in terms of fields, indexes,
table columns, links, keys
● Preparation of the TDD document for the implementation phase
● Escort of implementation phase and guiding according
neediness
