3. Thank you for downloading the MVMT New Year Guide. Last year was the first time we shared this
tool. After receiving astounding feedback from the hundreds of people who used it to evaluate
their 2010 and envision their 2011, we’re releasing an updated edition.
This year our theme is students of life. As MVMT MKRS, we are constantly learning about
ourselves, each other, our community, and the world. MVMT imagines most of this learning takes
place over food, in the reading of books, magazines, blogs, classes, dialogues with mentors, via
seminars, and in the moments of clarity that can come from stillness.
This year’s guide is organized around helping you to build your personal capital, intellectual
capital, social capital, and financial capital. As we develop these 4 capitals we gain the ability to
create our D.R.E.A.M. life, which means to have our Desired Relationships, Employment, and
Money.
